Synopsis
A disgraced announcer teams up with a young variety show director to pursue the truth behind a serial murder case. The name “Elpis” is taken from Greek Mythology and is the spirit of hope, as well as “the last item in Pandora’s Box”.
What is an ellipse? In ancient Greek mythology, it is said to be the only one remaining in the “Pandora’s Box (urn)” where various disasters are said to have befallen. In this drama, the characters find various “hopes” in the process of getting to the truth, but they also face “disasters” such as pain and bankruptcy for themselves, their environment, and the organization they belong to. What remains after the chaos caused by the opening of Pandora’s Box: hope or disaster?
