ハリウッドの銀幕の女優と言えば、イングリッド・バーグマンです。白黒の映画でさえ、バーグマンを見ていると、心地よい香水の香りがして来そうに思うのは私だけではないと思います。バーグマンは本来はベルマンと読むらしく、シェーデンでドイツ人の母親から生まれました。
　厚生は、美貌でなく演技力一本で勝負していたので、老け役も多く、長生きされたのだと思っていたのですが、オードリー・ヘップバーンと同じく長年の癌の闘病で、たった６７歳でなくなっています。乳癌でした。
　それにしても、ハリウッドのモノクロ時代のバーグマンは美しいですねー
　ドイツ系の理知的な美しさに、女性の弱さはかなさを重ねたところが、この人の魅力と人気だったのではないでしょうか。
