Educational Video: The goal of this video is educational; to document a traditional market and offer viewers a closer look at a food culture many may have never seen before.

Food traditions vary widely around the world and are often shaped by geography, history, and availability. Crocodile meat has long been eaten in parts of southern China, particularly in Guangdong Province, where it is used in soups, stir-fries, hot pots, and traditional preparations.

In this video, we visit Sanzhou Market in Shunde, China, where crocodile meat is legally sold and purchased by local residents. Rather than sensationalizing the experience, this video documents how crocodile is prepared and eaten as part of local food culture.

The crocodile featured in this video was purchased directly from the market and prepared into three different dishes, showing the ingredients, cooking methods, and flavors local people enjoy.

As always, Travel Thirsty aims to document real food traditions from around the world through observation and cultural exploration.
