In 2019, Mao Fujita won the second prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition and performed with prestigious orchestras one after another, winning the favor of maestros such as Walery Gergiev and Riccardo Chailly.
In 2021, Mao became the first Japanese pianist to sign a worldwide recording contract with the label Sony Classical, and hes4 world debut album “Mozart: Complete Piano Sonatas” has been released in 160 countries.
Today, Mao is rehearsing the performance at the wedding reception site of his best friend.
