Grace Kelly: 60 Second Bio

Grace Kelly was an American actress and later the Princess of Monaco. She was born in Philadelphia on 12th November 1929. Kelly began her acting career in New York City starring in television and stage productions before moving to Hollywood in the early 1950s. She quickly became a rising star, winning an Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Actress for her role in “The Country Girl” in 1955. She only made eleven films, notably “High Noon”, “Dial M for Murder”, “Rear Window”, “To Catch a Thief” and “High Society”.
In 1956, Kelly married Prince Rainier III of Monaco, retiring from acting to fulfill her duties as princess. She became known for her philanthropic work and promoting the arts in Monaco. Tragically, Kelly died in a car accident in 1982 at the age of 52. Her legacy continues as a symbol of elegance, grace, and sophistication both on and off the screen. She is remembered as one of the most beautiful and talented actresses of her time and a beloved member of the royal family of Monaco.
