外宮別宮で「木造始祭」Official Start of Shrine Reconstruction #shorts #japan #伊勢神宮

令和8年4月28日・7年後の第63回神宮式年遷宮に向けて、伊勢神宮外宮の別宮「月夜見宮」で「木造始祭」（こづくりはじめさい）が執り行われました。御木曳初式で奉曳された御木に小工が忌斧を打ち入れる所作をし、御造営の工事が始まる際に執り行われる祭です

This video shows scenes from “Kozukuri Hajime-sai” (Wooden Construction Initiation Ceremony), which was held on April 28th at Tsukiyomi-no-Miya Shrine, a subsidiary shrine of Ise Jingū’s Outer Shrine (Gekū). This ceremony is held every 20 years to offer prayers for the safety of construction work leading up to the Shikinen Sengū (periodic rebuilding of the shrine buildings at Ise Jingū).
