花旅Day1 バラ園巡り🌹広島市植物公園＆蜂ヶ峯総合公園/初夏のガーデンをめぐる旅/広島 山口

こんにちは　Life in Shikoku です。2泊3日で、中国地方から九州へ、初夏のガーデンを巡る旅をしました。1日目は、広島県と山口県へ、バラを見に行きました。

しまなみ海道を渡って広島県へ上陸。五日市ICで高速を降り、広島市内の「広島市植物公園」へ。高台にある広大な施設ですが、まずバラ園へ。人気のバラと共に、古品種などの貴重品種も収集されています。満開の美しいバラを満喫しました。その後、様々な温室を訪れて、フクシアや熱帯スイレン、ランなどの美しい花も見ることが出来ました。

雨が降ってきたのですが、山口県和木町「蜂ヶ峯総合公園」のバラ園へ向かいます。雨が小やみになった時に散策開始。ウェブサイトには4割の開花と書かれていましたが、6-7割咲いているように見えました。水滴のついた可愛いバラをたくさん見ることが出来ました。この景色を、一緒に楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいです。

Hello, we are Life in Shikoku. We took a two-night, three-day trip from the Chugoku region to Kyushu to visit gardens in early summer. On the first day, we went to Hiroshima and Yamaguchi prefectures to see the roses.

We crossed the Shimanami Kaido and arrived in Hiroshima Prefecture. We exited the expressway at Itsukaichi Interchange and headed to the Hiroshima Botanical Garden in Hiroshima city. Although the vast grounds are situated on a hill, we headed straight for the rose garden. In addition to popular varieties, the garden also houses a collection of rare and historic roses. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful roses in full bloom. Afterward, we visited various greenhouses and were able to see beautiful flowers such as fuchsias, tropical water lilies, and orchids.

It started to rain, but we headed to the rose garden at Hachigamine Grand Park in Waki Town, Yamaguchi Prefecture. We began our stroll when the rain let up a bit. The website said 40% of the roses were in bloom, but it looked like 60–70% were actually blooming. We were able to see lots of lovely roses covered in raindrops. We would be happy if you could enjoy this scenery with us.
