ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2026年3月に奈良県奈良市にある「月ヶ瀬梅林」に行きました。

・月ヶ瀬梅林

初春を真っ先に感じさせる梅の名所「月ヶ瀬」は、五月川の両渓谷沿いに、約１万本の紅白鮮やかな梅の木が広がります。
この地は、「月ヶ瀬梅渓」と呼ばれ、1922（大正11）年に国の名勝に指定されました。
シーズンになると、無数の咲き競う梅の花を目当てに川沿いを散策する人々が数多く訪れます。
真福寺や天神社沿いの道を歩く人もおり、休憩しながら、お店で梅グルメやお餅、山の幸、お茶などが楽しめます。

梅の見頃 ：2月中旬～3月

・上野市駅～尾山（月ヶ瀬梅林最寄り）
路線バスが毎日運行（上野市駅2番のりば「桃香野口行き」に乗車）
片道運賃：760円（大人）／380円（小児）

・JR月ヶ瀬口駅～尾山口（月ヶ瀬梅林）
臨時バス運行日 ： 2026年2月28日、3月1,7,8,14,15,20,21,22日
片道運賃：600円（大人）／300円（小児）

I’d like to introduce a place I recently visited.

In March 2026, I went to Tsukigase Plum Grove in Nara City, Nara Prefecture.

* Tsukigase Plum Grove

Tsukigase, a famous plum blossom spot that immediately signals the arrival of early spring, boasts approximately 10,000 vibrant red and white plum trees along both valleys of the Satsuki River.

This area is known as “Tsukigase Plum Valley” and was designated a national scenic spot in 1922 (Taisho 11).

During the season, many people visit to stroll along the river, drawn by the countless blooming plum blossoms.

Some people also walk along the paths beside Shinfuku-ji Temple and Tenjin Shrine, taking breaks and enjoying plum-themed treats, mochi (rice cakes), mountain delicacies, and tea at the shops.

Best time to see plum blossoms: Mid-February to March

* Ueno-shi Station to Oyama (nearest to Tsukigase Plum Grove)
Route buses run daily (Take the “Momokanoguchi” bound bus from platform 2 at Ueno-shi Station)
One-way fare: 760 yen (adult) / 380 yen (child)

* JR Tsukigaseguchi Station to Oyamaguchi (Tsukigase Plum Grove)
Temporary bus service dates: February 28, March 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 2026
One-way fare: 600 yen (adult) / 300 yen (child)
