この日は例大祭――町全体が息を吹き返す特別な一日。

神輿は町を巡り、海老名駅まで進み、再び神域へと還る。
その道のりは、ただの巡行ではない。
人と人が繋がり、声と想いが重なり、ひとつの流れとなって動き出す。

担ぎ手たちの力強さ、途切れぬ熱気、そして空気を震わせるエネルギー。
この日、すべてが生きていた。

弥生神社の神輿は、その姿もまた印象的だ。
屋根に据えられた鳳凰――その足は独特の形を持ち、まるで今にも動き出すかのような躍動を感じさせる。
静でありながら、そこには確かな“動”が宿っている。

私にとって神輿とは、ただ神様を運ぶ存在ではない。
そこには記憶があり、魂があり、人の想いが宿る。
過去と今が交わり、そして未来へと繋がっていく。

この一日もまた、確かに刻まれた。
そしてその物語は、これからも続いていく。

Yayoi Shrine, located in Ebina City, Kanagawa.
On this day, the Reitaisai brings the entire town to life.

The mikoshi moves through the city, reaching Ebina Station, before returning once again to the sacred grounds.
This is not just a procession—
it is a living current, where people connect, voices merge, and spirit takes form.

The strength of the carriers, the unbroken energy, the air itself trembling with intensity—
on this day, everything was alive.

The mikoshi of Yayoi Shrine carries a distinctive presence.
The phoenix atop its roof stands with uniquely shaped legs, giving the impression that it is about to move at any moment.
Though still, it holds within it a powerful sense of motion.

To me, a mikoshi is more than a sacred vehicle.
It carries memory, spirit, and the will of the people.
It is where past and present meet—and where something is carried forward into the future.

This day, too, has been engraved within me.
And its story… will continue.
