This time, We visited a local okonomiyaki spot called “Yuri-chan” in Hiroshima.
It’s a small neighborhood restaurant, the kind of place where locals naturally gather.
But there’s a deeper story behind it. This shop is part of the lineage of the famous Hassho Hiroshima okonomiyaki restaurant.
The owner, Yuri-chan, is the daughter of its founder, and also the granddaughter of the first head of Hiroshima’s Okonomi-mura.
Carrying on that legacy and spirit, she carefully grills each okonomiyaki, one by one.
