📍 寳山寺（ほうざんじ）Hozan-ji Temple

寳山寺（ほうざんじ）は、奈良県生駒市の生駒山中腹に位置する真言律宗の寺院で、「生駒聖天（いこましょうてん）」の名で広く知られています。正式には「寶山寺」と書き、商売繁盛や財運、良縁成就をもたらす仏として信仰される聖天（歓喜天）を本尊としています。

江戸時代初期の1678年、僧・湛海（たんかい）によって開かれ、以来「現世利益の寺」として多くの参拝者を集めてきました。長い石段や無数の燈籠が連なる参道、山中に広がる堂宇群は独特の霊気と静寂を湛え、昼夜で異なる幻想的な表情を見せます。

また、生駒山の自然と一体化した境内は「異世界のよう」とも称され、関西屈指のパワースポットとしても知られています。

Hozan-ji Temple, also known as Ikoma Shoten, is a Shingon Ritsu Buddhist temple located on the slopes of Mount Ikoma in Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, Japan. It is dedicated to Kangiten (Shoten), a deity associated with prosperity, financial success, and harmonious relationships.

Founded in 1678 during the early Edo period by the monk Tankai, the temple has long been regarded as a place of worldly benefits and spiritual blessings. Its approach is lined with stone steps and countless lanterns, leading visitors through a mystical atmosphere into a mountainside complex of halls and shrines.

Blending seamlessly with the surrounding forest, the temple grounds evoke a surreal, otherworldly ambiance—especially at night—making it a notable spiritual destination in the Kansai region.
