岡山の桜を散策するシリーズ　岡山【桜】紀行
第8回目の最終回は岡山県北・新庄村の『がいせん桜』を散策します。
旧出雲街道の宿場町『新庄宿』の面影が残る「がいせん桜通り」。樹齢100年を超える120本以上の桜のアーチが、旧出雲街道の街並みに沿って約500m続きます。
新庄川沿いの『しだれ桜通り』も散策します。

Okayama Cherry Blossom Stroll Series: Okayama [Cherry Blossom] Travelogue
In the 8th and final episode, we will take a walk through the “Gaisenzakura” in Shinjo Village in northern Okayama Prefecture.
Gaisen Sakura-dori Street retains the vestiges of Shinjo-juku, a post town on the old Izumo Highway. The arch of more than 120 cherry trees, which are over 100 years old, stretches for about 500 meters along the old Izumo Kaido streetscape.
We will also take a stroll along “Weeping Sakura Street” along the Shinjo River.
