  1. We visited this place thanks to one of our viewers who told us about it. I always read your comments 👀 Thank you all, as always.

In Japan, yokai are mysterious creatures that have appeared in folklore for over a thousand years.
Some are scary, some are playful, and many are connected to everyday life and nature.

If yokai lived in your town, what do you think they would be like?💭

  2. not gonna lie, the kappa here super reminds me of the gollum from the 1977 animated The Hobbit movie. both are freaky in my opinion. 😅 but i see what you mean about gajiro still has his charm. are you familiar with the video game Ghostwire: Tokyo? its all about yokai. honestly i didnt know much about yokai until playing that game but i learned a tonnnn from it. (i believe that part of the game is accurate but dont quote me on that.) as someone who really enjoys cultures and anthropology, i found it super interesting to learn more about japanese folklore! was fascinating to learn about kappa, kodama, nekomata, nurikabe, rokurokubi, oni 👹, tengu 👺, kamaitachi, and many many more. i had no idea there were so many!! (my favorite were nekomata cause i love cats lol.) anyway, loved getting to see some references in japan today! 🤍was super cool getting to see a town that pays so much homage to yokai!

  3. Йоу! Так красиво! Я просто не могу! Очень сильно хочу поехать в Японию и посмотреть все эти места своими глазами.

  4. I've been to that park! It was a lot of fun. I didn't know there was a stamp rally, though. Gajiro visiting was so cute, hahah! And I love the silly car.

I was very interested in yokai when I was younger and always wanted to visit Tono, Iwate (because Kunio Yanagita wrote Tono Monogatari), but I didn't have the money for a far trip, so Fukusaki was just as good!

I lived in Shiso, Hyogo which has beautiful fall leaves. Maybe you can visit the Momiji Matsuri there one day! Another nice place in Hyogo are the Takeda Castle Ruins. They are so beautiful.

  5. 超正,喜歡古靈精怪野既人,可以的話一定要去下。不過好似要識渣車好D,係咪?

  6. The title of the video was in french, so I picked it because I love what is it about Japan, and you found something very special, my favorite theme are yokai and every dish sounds so delicious, this travel is so chill, thank you for the ride !

  7. Beautiful the Americas need something like this but with Bigfoot, the Jersey devil, etc tourism 👍

  8. A must see for me. Is there just the one hotel/onsen to stay at there. Is it hard to get a reservation? Looking forward to the stamp collection.😊

  9. I'm curious as to how long this place has existed like this? I lived in Northern Japan, Misawa AFB, Aomori prefecture, from 1974 through 1977. If my family had known about it, we probably would have made a trip down to Fukusaki. We traveled off base as much as possible while living there.

  10. @its_time_to_travel. watching your videos from india since two years and this is my sunday thing. 11.

  12. For those who have visited, is it possible to go around this town by public transport like bus? Is it possible to walk from one place to another for a day trip? (We couldn't drive car soooo 😅)
    Thx!
