Staying at the Only Ryokan in Japan’s Hidden Mountain Onsen | Frozen Forest Illumination | Takayama
This time, I stayed at the only ryokan in Akigami Onsen, a hidden hot spring deep in the mountains of Takayama, Gifu Prefecture.
I stayed on a one-night plan for 16,000 yen ($110).
There is nothing else around besides the Subzero Forest, just quiet nature, where you can spend a peaceful and relaxing time.
