Trivia: Osaka culture is very different from Tokyo. Since I was born in Himeji, which is only 1 hour from Osaka, I was more familiar to the Osaka culture than to the Tokyo culture. We speak Kansai dialect which sounds somewhat harsh or intimidating to Tokyo people. On the other hand, when I visited Tokyo for the first time with my local friends, the way Tokyo people speak sounded too soft or too feminine to our ears. But now that I’ve lived in Tokyo more than 10 years, when I go back to my hometown, I get scared because my father and my local friends from high school speak like Yakuza! (Japanese mafia) 😄

Another great memory. My first time in Osaka was arriving in Umeda Station via Shinkansen. We then took the Hankyu line to Ikeda station where my in-laws live. I was there for 2days and don't remember hardly anything.bus station,hotel, business. Hey ty for uploading!! I noticed a lot of area that I used to visited changed dramatically! I probably be lost going point A to B lol. I grew up around shin-Osaka and haven't visited Umeda/Osaka about 8 years now. once again ty for uploading and giving me the nostalgia vibes!!
I think this video was taken when it's at the height of COVID-19 and the Osaka Station was like empty. I was there at the night of Friday, Nov. 18, 2023 and the following morning. Oh, boy, the place was packed and people everywhere.
