  1. Wow we were there in November! Reliving our time there while watching the video. I want to go back!!! I tried one of those cakes in the can, it was so good! Mahalo for sharing!

  2. What a lovely place. That Japanese Chinese food was sooooo hot!!!! Never seen food so hot!! But it looked delicious!!

  3. My wife and I are spending three weeks in Japan and just left Kinosoki Onsen! Now we’re in Tokyo. We’ve checked out a lot of your recommendations along the way, thanks!

  4. This town looks great!!! I would love to visit one day but it is so far from Tokyo. Would love to try the daifuku mochi met ume, sound delicious.

  5. Now all that's left for you to do is to grow a chonmage, Shinichi-san, and you're good to fit in a Hokusai painting 👘🩴

  6. Wow!!! Definitely adding Kinosaki onsen into my itinerary. Happy New Year Tabieats.❤️❤️❤️

  7. Love this place. All the onsens are nice. Thanks Shinichi and Satoshi.

  8. Thanks for making these videos. I first started watching you guys when I wanted to visit Hokkaido in 2019. And it helped me in my planning so much! Am heading to the Kansai region in March and now I'm really contemplating if I should visit Kinosaki!

  9. What a lovely video. Thank you for sharing. I would love to visit here!

  10. Molto bella questa cittadina, grazie per la tua condivisione.
    Mi piacerebbe arrivare lì.
    Saluti da Roma, Italy.

  11. hi for non japanese, it be useful if u mention where is Kinosaki exactly? From tokyo, how far away? Thank u.

  12. Wow! It's changed so much! I last visited in 2010 and it was still very much a little countryside town. All of the restaurants and shops were very old fashioned. Didn't see anything back then resembling a cafe. It looks so different now! A work-cation could be a good excuse to go back and check it out! Thanks for the tour!

  14. Hau'oli makahiki hou, Boys!!! So glad to see you and Kinosaki!! I'll be going there in May and I'll be thinking of y'all.

  15. Shinichi, you have such an expressive face that the before and after the first onsen was striking. Before, it was tense like biceps holding up a pile of stones, but after? Smooth but SMOOTH like cloudless sky. Best onsen ad ever. Aside of appreciating you sharing such wonderful places with us, I am so happy for you that you two have these wonderful experiences. You deserve the joys and pleasures of life. You remind us these things exist and are worth preserving both there and in our own countries out here. Blessings! 🙂 <3 🌈

  16. カリフォルニア州在住です。お菓子とても美味しそうだったので、早速コード使ってオーダーさせて頂きました!楽しみです!

  17. I really love this type of travel video. You guys always do such a nice job to make it feel like we are walking with you. Thanks!

  18. I’m not sure about the ‘best onsen’ , I would recommend you to visit…. Takaragawa onsen (Gunma Ken), Kurokawa onsen ( Kumamoto) , Nyuto onsen in Akita -Ken… you’ll see the difference … besides the onsen is 源泉掛け流し!

  19. Beautiful quaint onsen town… I was just there 2 weeks ago. I had a fantastic time….so love it. I wish it was snowing though… i love your ryokan… what is the name of your accommodation please? Im want to go back late this year…

  20. Japanised Chinese food is always starchy and sweet. You had the sweet and sour pork which looked yummy. I shall visit this onsen town on my next visit.
    Thank you for sharing.

  21. So I noticed all the business buildings have multiple floors. Do the business owners live upstairs once the shops are closed?

  22. We are Thai and we travel specially to this onsen town. Thank you both of you. It reminds us a good time we had in Kinosaki Onsen. We went there by train from Himeji and we really enjoyed a beautiful countryside view. Absolutely fall inlove with this lovely onsen town.

  26. Thank you Shinichi for your slow paced and personal videos. They give the viewer a chance to see many of the interesting details of the places you visit, So many vloggers go so fast skimming over details , just leaving you asking WHAT and WHY? This is so interesting, refreshing and interesting. Cheers, Muffy from Oz (Australia)

  27. I mistakenly thought Kinosaki was another hot spring town with steaming pools running through the centre of town. To my eyes, it looks similar to Kinosaki. However, this town is far more attractive and I think a more desirable town to visit. Thank you for the tour.

  28. Hope I make it to Japan always wanted to go there but maybe never I am 822 yrs old now. I can see Japan through your eyes. Stuled on your show and love it. You make me so relaxed with your soft gentle voice. I live in Canada we get cold winters here. Love to see the japenese trees when they flower. Keep u with your show love it.

  29. <sarcasm warning for plonkers>
I hated this video! I had to pause and get some stout xD

  30. I was unlucky. Last time my motel was 水鄉 and was very bad service. They offered me a bottle of warm water and nobody ever appeared at counter until morning to check out. That night was around 0°C and the room heater was too bad to raise the room temperature. Anyway It was the worst experience I have ever had in Japan.
