I walked along the Shimamui coast, which is one of the 100 best beaches in Japan. The vivid sea that you can see after passing through the dark tunnel on the way is shocking♪
The Shimamui coast is the only spot where you can go down to the beach while the cliffs continue.
It was a pity that the promenade was closed due to the appearance of brown bears.
Originally, it seems that you could also go to the Shakotan Demisaki lighthouse on the promenade.
