There’s nothing like a view of Tokyo! So many skyscrapers, stretching on for as far as you can see. And there are hotels you can stay in with a beautiful view to enjoy at night and in the morning when you wake up. Lots of them are super expensive, like the Park Hyatt in Lost in Translation, but when I’ve been planning my Japan trips I’ve come across a number of Tokyo hotels that have great views, that are also more affordable for the average person. Let me know in the comments if you’ve stayed in any of them!

Great vid! We had booked Japan months ago and last month booked all our hotels.. We have just checked and some have almost doubled in price from what we paid 😮So glad we got in early!
If you like Train View🚄, I recommend Imperial Hotel Tower in Yurakucho. 💖✨
The hospitality of Imperial Hotel is also wonderful. 👍
so do you have any idea when you returning to japan? Always enjoy your videos
The best view I had was when I stayed at the Cerulean Tower hotel in Shibuya. We we’re hoping for a crossing view but our view didn’t disappoint. A clear view of Mount Fuji on the horizon and the rainbow bridge
We have stayed at the Hyatt regency Shinjuku. I think we will try the Prince Hotel Shinjuku next time.
i hope the gracery hotel in shinjuku will reopen, i sitll dream to book the Godzilla room
Cakes with Faces , clutch advise.
Love this! Great to know for Tokyo.
How is the weather in mid-late April?
The Grand Arc Hanzomon has great views over the Imperial Palace and you can see Tokyo Tower off in the distance too. Hanzomon is a quieter neighborhood, but the station (Hanzomon on the Hanzomon line) has direct connection to both Shibuya and Oshiage (for Tokyo Skytree) and Jimbocho. This is a fantastic location if you like to jog. It is very popular to jog around the Imperial Palace moat, as it's roughly a 5k. I think last time I checked, prices were around 6700 yen a night if you book decently in advance.
We stayed at Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo Seafort in October 2019…. had a pretty sweet view of Rainbow Bridge and Sky Tree from the room and it was quite cheap. Near Shinagawa Station but the Tokyo Monorail runs through the same building as the hotel so you don't have to get wet to get on the move.
Hey! A good affordable-ish hotel, is Yuen Shinjuku. Its in a great location not far from Shinjuku Station, and not all rooms will have views at the cheapest price, but it has an Onsen on the top floor with the views:) Prices start at about 8,300yen, which is about 60USD
We are staying in the Hyatt Regency Shinjuku, I think this is a business district but not too far from train stations, anybody have any experience of this one.
Excellent video, and very helpful.
I always get a great hotel view from places I don't care about, like Norwich, Birmingham or weston super mare haha
the borders are open now, do you plan to go there soon? I want to go, but I'm a little scared yet
Such a helpful video as we’ve booked the sunroute plaza but can change if need be for free . Your knowledge is fantastic and of a great help , I actually just received your book and talked to you on Instagram yesterday etc . Il so excited and the wife is beyond excited lol . Thanks Amy 👍😁
Hi can you make a video about a 2week itinerary in osaka, kyoto and Tokyo if that’s possible my visa only allowed me to stay for 15days 😢
We stayed at the Granbell in Shibuya, just southwest of the station. There is construction on the south end of Shibuya as part of the final modernization of the entire station. In 2019, my room was right. Ext to the construction, but you also see the Yamanote line easily.
If I need to stay in Tokyo I go to Super Hotel in Kameido,… it's close to the Tozai Line so it's really convenient. There will be only a view of shitamachi Tokyo suburb, no foreign tourists … (^_^)
If you’re looking into a hotel right now you’re probably already spending one of the most expensive times of the year lmao
If only there was an American content filter on Youtube I would have found you long ago. I love your gentle, considered style as only the English can do (and I am not English).
I’m going in august and need a room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Can anyone recommend any hotels??
I know this is not a hotel with a view but got an offer at Daiwa Roynet Ginza, 4 nights including breakfast for 39000 JPY in june.. Is that a good deal? I'm gonna take the metro when going places 😄
The Metropolitan Sepia Towers 24 floor. North entry Tokyo Station. Nirobashi Entry. if your standing out front looking at Tokyo station north entry the Sepia tower is on your right on the 24 floor. I recommend the King Corner 25,800 yen or $ 220 USD plus you are right on top of Tokyo station . also Foyer toilet has the best place to take a wee. As you stand and wee Blokes you have view over Tokyo sky line. Sorry Girls only bloke, women have to sit and look the other way so miss out the view.
