On September 13, 2025, I visited Akiruno City in Tokyo for the Ina Festival — one of the region’s three great celebrations.
From the roadside near Shōichi-i Iwabashira Shrine, I quietly watched the procession: children, students, and adults carrying mikoshi, followed by traditional and modern floats, one even drawn by a kei-car. Unlike the main festival the next day, the streets were still calm, and my walk continued toward the highway, where the yatai stood waiting.

This video is a simple and gentle journey — from shrine to station — capturing the spirit of community and tradition.
