[Music] [Applause] Thank you for watching! This time, I’d like to introduce two very popular izakayas in a slightly hidden location in Izunokuni City, where you can not only drink but also enjoy a proper meal , so please watch until the end. First, to explain the first one using a map, if you are coming from the direction of Ema Interchange, head straight on Ichigo Kaido towards Nirayama. If you are coming from Route 136, go straight from the Yokamachi traffic light onto Ichigo Kaido, go straight at the Max Value traffic light, and turn right at the next intersection. Or, turn at the Yasaka Shrine traffic light beyond Yokamachi, go past the railroad crossing, and keep going straight. Turn left at the Iga Shopping intersection, and you will find it just before the next intersection. If you turned left at Iga Shopping, you should follow this road, but after turning and going about 100m, you will see our destination restaurant on your left. This restaurant is located in Yokamachi, Izunokuni City. It is very popular and is often full even on weekdays. Yotaro is open from 5pm to 11pm and is closed on Sundays. There are three parking spaces directly in front of the store entrance, and about six compact cars can be parked in parallel parking, but if there is already a car parked there, it is probably a good idea to ask the staff if you want to leave. However, it seems like the parking lot at this store is always full. So let’s go! I’m in! The interior of the restaurant has a calm Japanese atmosphere, and there are counter and tatami seating, but it was full so I wasn’t able to take many photos inside. Now let’s take a look at the menu. Yotaro is famous for its delicious sashimi and meat dishes, and you’ll see many people uploading pictures of their sashimi and meat on social media. The first page of the menu also has a variety of sashimi and meat dishes, and these two seem to be the main focus. Next is salad. There are six types of salad in total, and the most popular seems to be the octopus and tomato garlic salad. They also have skewers, deep-fried skewers, an incredible variety of a la carte dishes, noodles and okonomiyaki for finishing off the meal , and, as mentioned in the salad, their special yuba. As for drinks, they have famous sake that you’ve probably heard of, local sake from Shizuoka, and Yotaro’s recommendations for shochu, highballs, draft beer, bottled beer, red and white wine, etc. There is sparkling wine, shochu sours such as water and tea, cocktails, Hoppy , fruit and non-alcoholic beer, cocktails, soft drinks, and gin. There is also the ultimate drink, Dekotto Pon, which is a combination of Miracle Plum, Angel Shikwasa, Ponkan, and Dekopon. There is also fresh pineapple sour, frozen strawberry sour, and Japanese whiskey on the wall of the tatami room. The table service is like this, with soy sauce, salt, and chili pepper. Now that our order is complete, we will wait patiently for our food to arrive. First of all, draft beer♪ A large mug of Kirin Lager is 990 yen. Well then, good work! Cheers! The appetizer for the day was a salad of tender gizzards. It was a great snack with a great taste and texture. Next was macaroni salad. The exquisite saltiness and rich texture were amazing. Next, I ordered two pork skewers and two meatballs. Since I was there, I also ordered three skewered pork loins and two ham cutlets. Both the grilled and fried dishes were delicious. The skewers came with a special sauce, which was also delicious. Some people order skewers just to taste this sauce. Next was squid okonomiyaki for 890 yen. In addition to sashimi and meat dishes, I had heard that Yotaro’s okonomiyaki is very delicious, so I ordered it. The size was a little larger than usual, and it was cut into four pieces in advance, so it was easy to serve with the spatula provided. Since it was freshly made, it was naturally piping hot, and when I ate it, it was plump and soft. It’s very delicious! This is a dish that I would recommend to anyone who likes okonomiyaki. Next up is the Mega Highball for 850 yen . Since you’re going to be drinking anyway, the larger one is better and saves you the trouble. Next up is the salted pork slices, which were on the first menu. I ordered it as a snack, but it turned out to be a hearty meat dish that could easily be called a main course. This was also pre-cut into 4 pieces, and even 1/4 was quite a large portion. As for the taste, the salted soup gave it a strong flavor, and the meat itself was very tender, and it went well with the green onions, making it absolutely delicious. By the way, in addition to cash, cashless payments such as cards and QR codes are also accepted. Also, if you are a citizen of Izunokuni, you can use premium products until the end of September 2025, so if you have any leftovers, you might want to use them here. The first place I introduced was Yotaro in Yokamachi. It’s great for a quick drink, a light snack, or a delicious drink, or as a meal. 食べましたか、おいしいお店について。 English : This is a restaurant where you will be very satisfied whether you come to eat okonomiyaki, yakisoba ramen or onigiri. It is also nice to have a drink with their main dishes, sashimi or grilled wagyu beef. If there is a menu item that interests you, why not try Yotaro? Now, we would like to move on to the next restaurant, so please read to the end. The next restaurant we will introduce is also very popular with locals, and we have come to this restaurant, where the food is said to be delicious no matter what you eat. As expected, the location is a little difficult to find, so I will explain using a map. If you are coming from the direction of Route 136, take the road in front of Izunagaoka Station towards Kona, cross the bridge and you can also take the road in front of it, but it is a little narrow, so turn left at the traffic light with the dry cleaner a little further ahead, then turn left immediately after The restaurant is open from 11:30 AM to 2 PM and from 5 PM to 11 PM, and is closed on Mondays. Please note that the last order is 30 minutes before closing, both for lunch and dinner. The parking lot is directly in front of the restaurant entrance, and can accommodate 6 to 8 cars if you park parallel. Let’s go! ♪ Even though there wasn’t a single car in the parking lot, both the counter and the table seats were full. That probably means there are a lot of local regulars. The seating is at the counter and at the tables. In the back , there are also tatami tables for 4 and 6 people . Let’s take a look at the menu! First of all, there is sashimi, quick dishes, a la carte dishes that are delicious no matter what you eat, and seven types of salad. Then, on the back, there are chicken dishes, fried foods, skewers, grilled foods, and rice dishes. The drink menu includes Premium Malts draft beer, bottled beer, shochu, non-alcoholic drinks, and soft drinks.Next , there is highly carbonated highball, whiskey, sake, fruit varieties, makgeolli , and wine.A set meal menu is also available. At lunchtime, there is another menu board, and although there are quite a number of items already, there are even more original menus on the wall. Finally, there is ramen for those who want a little more to eat, and kamameshi for those who want a hearty meal, and the table service is like this, it seems they have everything. Now that we’ve completed our order, we will wait patiently for the food to arrive.First of all, this is it! A draft Premium Malt’s beer is 600 yen. The appetizer for the day was stewed offal, which was tender and odorless, with daikon radish and konjac that had absorbed the broth and flavor. Next came burdock chips for 450 yen. They were light, crispy, and delicious. The menu on the wall said they were healthy, but I’m not sure if they really were (lol). Next was shellfish rice, 1560 yen. After deciding between chicken, salmon, and shellfish, I decided on shellfish rice. Being able to eat freshly cooked food is the height of luxury. By the way, the Kamameshi comes with salad, pickles, and miso soup. This Kamameshi takes about 30 minutes to cook, so if you’re short on time, it seems like you can have Kamameshi with less waiting time if you make a reservation by phone in advance. The portion is neither too much nor too little, and in my opinion, it’s just right. The seasoning was also good, and the flavor of the shellfish and vegetables combined with the flavor of the broth was very delicious. Next, I ordered the Char Siu Ramen for 850 yen. It looks like a simple ramen, but the soup, noodles, and Char Siu are all of high quality, making it a simple yet very delicious bowl. When I come to Muroi-san, I often order this as the last dish. Other ramen options include Shio Ramen, Spicy Tan Tan Men, and Soupless Zha Jiang Men, but this Char Siu is so delicious that I can’t easily reach for other ramen. The soup is not too thick, but not too thin, and has a gentle flavor that feels deep and is really delicious. This is a bowl that I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes simple ramen. By the way, payment can be made in cash. Please note that this time, the main focus was on the food, but both the kamameshi and ramen were delicious. By the way, Muroi requires advance reservations for groups of 6 or more. Also, please note that smoking is permitted during evening hours, so those under 20 are not permitted inside. If you’re bringing small children, they only serve lunch, but they also offer a great value “Mom’s Lunch” and a great value “Service Lunch.” If you’re looking for a cheap and delicious family meal, lunchtime is a good time. Also, while the parking lot is available during evening hours, the restaurant can get surprisingly crowded, so I recommend making a reservation in advance or going early. Thank you for watching until the end. If you found this video helpful or interesting, I’d be happy if you subscribed , clicked the like button, or left a comment. See you in the next video!
