鷲羽岳は、飛騨山脈中央部に位置し、長野県大町市と富山県富山市にまたがる標高2,924 mの山です。1934年12月4日に中部山岳国立公園に指定され、山域はその特別保護地区になっています。また日本百名山にも選定されています。 黒部川の源流に位置しています。
Mt. Washiba is located in the central part of the Hida Mountains, straddling Omachi City in Nagano Prefecture and Toyama City in Toyama Prefecture, with an elevation of 2,924 m. It was designated as part of the Chubu Sangaku National Park on December 4, 1934, and the mountain area is a special protected area. It has also been selected as one of Japan’s 100 most famous mountains. It is located at the source of the Kurobe River.
