Hello! This time, I’m traveling solo to Kanazawa, and I’m looking forward to eating lots of delicious food! The Tsuzumimon Gate and Dome are the symbols of Kanazawa Station! They’re so impressive when you look up at them from below ! First, I’m going to eat some conveyor-belt sushi! I arrived at the Kanazawa Forus Building in front of the station and headed to the 6th floor where the restaurant is located. Because it’s so popular, even on a weekday, there was a line of 11 groups waiting. After getting my numbered ticket, I waited about 30 minutes. The crab was sweet and delicious! I also ordered salmon ♡ Delicious and melt-in-your-mouth ! I love salmon. The medium fatty tuna was a beautiful color, and the large , melt-in-your-mouth button shrimp had just the right amount of fat ! The flesh was so tender and delicious ! The sea urchin and salmon roe gunkanmaki was fresh and delicious ! I was very satisfied! I bought a Kanazawa Bus 1-Day Pass and took the bus to Higashi Chaya District. I got off at Hashiba-cho Higashi Chaya District and arrived after about a 5-minute walk . The streetscape is very relaxing. This shop is popular for its fruit daifuku. There are so many varieties of fruit daifuku that it’s hard to choose. They also had matcha, soft drinks, and alcohol. I chose the pineapple daifuku! It looked delicious! I had Kaga Bancha tea. It was fragrant and delicious . The pineapple was very juicy! The skin was chewy! The white bean paste was also elegantly sweet. Next time I come, I’d like to try their other dishes. This shop serves soft serve ice cream, a representative Kanazawa gourmet dish, and there was an eating area on the third floor. The luxurious soft serve milk was rich and delicious. I really enjoyed Higashi Chaya District! I took the bus to the hotel and got off at Minami-cho Oyama Shrine. I found it just a short walk from the bus stop. This is where I’ll be staying for the night! This hotel has a Japanese design that is typical of Kanazawa . A cute fawn greets you at the entrance. The amenities are located next to the front desk. The calm atmosphere is nice. The Japanese design above the bed is lovely! There is a table and chairs. There are two bottles of water in the refrigerator . The toilet and bathroom are clean. The hair dryer is Panasonic. Today I’m wearing a floral dress from Herlipto. It doesn’t wrinkle, so I often wear it when I travel. I’m going out for dinner. I went to a long-established oden restaurant. I could see the piping hot oden over the counter! The ganmodoki is filled with lots of ingredients, including shiitake mushrooms, carrots, and ginkgo nuts! Wow! The broth is soaked in and it’s delicious! It’s packed with ingredients and is very filling, making it the best! This is my first time trying the classic Kanazawa oden dish, the “baigai” (sea cucumber). The liver is bittersweet and I love it. It ‘s incredibly chewy and delicious! ♡ Everything about the Kanazawa oden was delicious, I was blown away! It was the best I’ve ever had! I’m back at the hotel, so I ‘m going to the public bath, which I’ve been looking forward to! It’s on the top floor of the hotel . The public bath offers a beautiful view of the Kanazawa nightscape . There’s even a reclining bath, so I was able to relax. ♪ I think I’ll sleep well tonight! ♪ Good morning. It’s beautiful weather today ! ♪ For breakfast , you can choose between the hotel buffet or a restaurant in Omi Market. Apparently, Omi Market is open until 2:30 PM. I was really torn, but I decided to check out and go to a restaurant in Omi Market! Omi Market is conveniently located just a short walk from the hotel, and they have a variety of gorgeous seafood bowls. First, the oden was served . I was happy because I missed the fishballs yesterday. The akamaki (red cucumber) had a chewy texture and was delicious. Each fillet was large and looked delicious! Let’s eat! The thick layer of yellowtail fat is delicious! The salmon is fresh, sweet, and delicious! It’s topped with a variety of seafood, so you won’t get bored of eating it. I love the sweetness of the tamagoyaki sushi that comes with the sushi . It was a generous portion, and I was very satisfied . I found a pudding that caught my eye! I’ll buy some ! There’s an eat-in space inside the store, and it looks delicious! The caramel sauce is not bitter, but has a gentle flavor. I finished it in no time. Next, I’ll try the fun painting experience ! I’ll be painting Kanazawa’s traditional craft, “Kaga Hachiman Okiagari.” I’ll be coloring this white daruma doll. There are no rules, and it seems like I can paint freely! I love painting, so I’m looking forward to it! I’ll paint it with paints. It’s hard to paint it neatly , but I want to be particular about these things. I chose my favorite character, Chiikawa, for the face. I tried drawing flowers and a tail on the back . I made some mistakes, but it was fun! Next, I’ll head to the much-talked-about library. I’ll take the bus to the Ishikawa Prefectural Library. Wow, it’s amazing! It’s like an art museum! The ceiling is like a stadium. This is my first time in such a stylish library (I’m impressed). The book-themed exhibits are wonderful. The design is inspired by a single person’s room. The world of the cream soda book is so cute ♡ There’s a Rika-chan doll and a gachapon machine! The exciting exhibits make you want to read. It’s a travel guidebook that conveys Japanese culture. The sofas are stylish and comfortable. The books are organized by theme, so it’s easy to find a book you like. I had fun looking at all the different books in the travel section ♪ It’s such a wonderful space, I wish I could stay there all day. By the way, the library apparently has about 1 million books. I’ll also go upstairs. From above, it looks like a live music venue. I read a book about a cafe I was interested in, and the illustrations were so cute and relaxing ♪ It was a place I’m truly glad I came. I’m back at Kanazawa Station. I ‘m going for dinner. I love fried octopus ♪ I ordered the Nodoguro Kamameshi (Blackthroat Seaperch Kamameshi ) and it came with salmon roe! So happy ♡ The Nodoguro was delicious at the conveyor belt sushi restaurant, so I’m looking forward to the Kamameshi too. Let’s eat! It’s delicious!! The Nodoguro is so fatty and amazing! I might like it more than sushi! It’s so delicious! Such a luxurious combination ! So delicious – I’m so happy ! The burnt rice was also delicious . The blackthroat seaperch was well-fattened, moist, and had a great flavor . I was satisfied with the delicious food until the very end! My solo trip to Kanazawa was fun ♪ Thank you for watching until the end.
