Solo Camping & Motorcycle Adventure in Fukushima, JAPAN

I am heading Roadside Station Datenosato Ryozen from Togenomori Natural Park Camping ground, which is about a 25-minute drive. I’m so glad it’s sunny! I saw many signs for Ryozan, so I decided to stop by before going to Iizaka Onsen. The temperature on this day was also hot, exceeding 34 degrees. Mackerel rice balls?! Date Chicken Miso Onigiri Mackerel Rice Ball is delicious. Now that I’ve had something to eat, I head to Ryozen Shrine, which is about 15 minutes away. I entered the city of Fukushima. Ryozenji is said to have been founded by Jikaku Daishi in the first year of the Jogan era (859), and was rebuilt by the Date clan during the Muromachi period. During the Nanboku-cho period, Ryozen Castle was built as a base for the Southern Court, and Ryozenji Temple also functioned as part of it. This shrine at the foot of Mount Sacred Mountain enshrines the Kitabatake clan. It was founded in 1881 (Meiji 14) on the site of the Kitabatake clan’s subsidiary castle, with Kitabatake Chikafusa, Akiie, Akinobu, and Morichika (Akinobu’s son) as its main deities. It is one of 15 shrines (the Fifteen Shrines of the Kenmu Restoration) that enshrines the imperial family and military commanders on the Southern Court side who contributed to the Kenmu Restoration. The area is home to three shrines associated with the dragon god: Shirane Sankichi Shrine, Takino Shrine, and Ryozen Shrine. The sound of wind chimes is soothing to the soul. I finally arrived at Iizaka Onsen. Free Wi-Fi. This free campsite is located in the Uchidake district, overlooking Mount Adatara. (Reservations required.) The water is delicious and drinkable! There are also toilets(restroom) and a kitchen. Prolonged group drinking and gatherings, Open fires are prohibited! Please take all trash and charcoal home with you.
Please be mindful of the volume of audio equipment (televisions, radios, cell phones, etc.). We have observed unauthorized use without applying, and camping equipment being left behind. The hot spring facility “Sky Pia Adatara” is nearby. here is also a restaurant where the fried oyster set meal was delicious!
