カップヌードル発祥の街へ!落語と商人の町をのんびり歩いてみた!:『大阪:池田』

August 3, 2025 Hello everyone! Today, I’m in Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture. The nearest station is Ikeda Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line. The aforementioned General Information Center is located immediately to the right after exiting the ticket gate. It’s approximately a 20-minute express train ride from Osaka-Umeda Station. The Ikeda City Tourist Information Center provides information on the city’s attractions, transportation, and events. In addition to tourist information, it also offers gourmet food that can only be found here. Ikeda City, located on the northern edge of Osaka, is a tourist area filled with natural, historical, cultural, and culinary attractions. It ‘s particularly known nationwide as the birthplace of instant ramen, making it a perfect day trip. Chiki Chiki Soft Serve: ¥400. The combination of Chicken Ramen and soft serve ice cream was sweet and salty, and delicious! At the Cup Noodles Museum Osaka Ikeda, Momofuku Ando, creator of the world’s first instant ramen, Chicken Ramen, is an interactive museum showcasing the history and culture of instant ramen . “Instant Ramen Tunnel” displays the lineup of instant ramen products, beginning with “Chicken Ramen.” Approximately 800 different packaging styles depict the evolution of instant ramen, which began with a single product over half a century ago . This exhibit faithfully recreates the research shed where “Chicken Ramen” was born. “My Cup Noodle Factory” allows visitors to create their own one-of-a-kind “Cup Noodles.” First, purchase a cup. One serving: ¥500. Design your own cup. Space and pens are provided. After designing, choose your favorite soup from four options and four toppings from 12 ingredients. A total of 5,460 flavor combinations are possible. First, add the noodles! Choose your toppings and seal. And there you have it! (*´ω`*) Air bags are also available for easy transport. There is also a shop inside the museum. After answering a questionnaire, we received a note. “Tonkatsu Hanamura Ikeda Branch” Chicken Ramen Katsudon: ¥1,500. Chicken Ramen is stuffed into the katsu batter. It had a subtle texture and flavor similar to Chicken Ramen, unlike anything I’d ever eaten before. Kureha Shrine is dedicated to Gofukuhime, a princess who traveled to Japan from the Chinese province of Wu and brought weaving and sewing techniques. The word “gofuku” (clothing) is said to have originated from Gofukuhime and originally meant silk fabric. Even today, the shrine attracts worshippers, especially those involved in fashion. In front of the worship hall is a stained-glass window featuring paulownia, bamboo, and phoenixes. Ikeda Gofukuza is a theater dedicated to popular theater, partially recreating the architectural style of the historic Gofukuza theater that once existed in Ikeda City . Rakugo Museum is an exhibition center for materials related to Kamigata Rakugo . It was established to preserve the traditional culture of Kamigata Rakugo and promote tourism and revitalize the region. The second floor also features a section where you can watch CDs and DVDs for free. The Kobayashi Ichizo Memorial Museum is an exhibition facility housed in the former residence of Ichizo Kobayashi, the businessman and founder of Hankyu Railway . It reopened in 2010. Admission fee: ¥300 (general) . There’s also a garden on the premises. Ikeda Castle Ruins Park is a historical park developed on the site of Ikeda Castle, the former residence of the Settsu Ikeda clan, a powerful clan that ruled Ikeda, Minoh, Toyonaka, and other areas during the Muromachi and Sengoku periods . The grounds include a strolling Japanese garden with a pond, a tower-style observation and rest building, a teahouse, a restored ruins zone, and an administration building, making it a spot where you can enjoy a wide range of history and nature. Thank you for watching this far. Finally, I’d like to share something I’d like to share with you. *The same information is written in the description. I hope this video will be helpful for your travels. I’ll continue to introduce these places regularly, so please subscribe to my channel. I hope you’ll also be looking forward to my next video.
