For our temple tour, I dressed in a traditional common and u while Esther also dressed for the occasion. Not only does this add to the authenticity of the experience, but it also a sign of respect when entering the sacred space. Our staff guide led us through the temple grounds, sharing fascinating insights into Balan Hindu traditions, architecture, and the daily rituals for many of the staff that keep the spiritual heart of the resort alive. From the intricate stone carvings to the symbolic offerings placed throughout, every detail tells a story that’s been passed down for generations. The tour lasts around 45 minutes and we found it to be not only informative but also a really calming experience and a great break from the normal resort activities. The best part, it’s completely free for all guests. You can book your own temple tour at the activities booking area conveniently located near the main pool.
