Hello. This time, I went to see the Tatebayashi Iris Festival, held at Tsutsujigaoka Park in Tatebayashi, Gunma Prefecture. In the park, about 70 varieties and 5,000 irises are in full bloom. Iris are originally from the original species, the Nohanashobu (wild iris), which has been selectively bred as a horticultural variety. New varieties are constantly being developed, and it is said that there are currently more than 5,000 varieties . Iris are traditional horticultural plants that have been actively improved and developed since the mid-Edo period, based on the Nohanashobu (wild iris), which grows wild in the mountains and fields of Japan. This is the Nohanashobu (wild iris). This is the original species of Japanese iris . Continued next time ♡ There is a plant with leaves that look similar to Japanese iris, called Shobu , but they are completely different species. While Japanese iris belongs to the Iridaceae family, Shobu belongs to the Araceae family . Also, Shobu is used as iris baths during the Boys’ Festival. Thank you for watching until the end. 🌺たてばやし花菖蒲まつりが、2025（令和7）年5月31日（土曜日）から6月15日（日曜日）の間、開催されます。
約70品種およそ5000株の花菖蒲が咲き誇ります。
この日は、花摘み実演（ミス館林フラワーレディ）による花がら摘み実演が行われる予定でしたが、
予定を見ずに行ったため開始直前に帰ってしまいました。残念😂

花菖蒲の種類の多さに驚きます。
園芸種はそれぞれ素敵ですが、シンプルな原種のノハナショウブも好みです。
花摘みの様子は未だで残念ですが軽快なBGMで見ごたえのある御案内をありがとうございました。

群馬の花しょうぶと言えば、館林の旧秋元別邸前ですね。
咲いてる咲いてる。それにしても5000種とはそんなに種類があるものなのですね。
晴れやかな空の下で見るのも良いですが、しっとりとした曇り空くらいの方が、色飽和も少なく美しく見えます。

近いので花しょうぶの季節にも行ってみようと思いつつ、秋の十月桜以来ご無沙汰です😅

広く撮るのもいいですが、やっぱアップが好きです。1:17花びらをいくつも重ねて撮ってるのがいいですね！マネしたいです。
木道用の縦杭がぴょんぴょんと何本も飛び出ているのがアクセントになっていいです。
2:37は新品種でしょうか、綺麗さ一番かもです。私もどこか撮りに行こうかな！
