Great insight into this largely unknown festival at the edge of Fukui prefecture! Apparently, the organizers predicted heavy traffic congestion, and advised visitors beforehand to take use of the public transportation services provided by the city. If you used it, how did you experience this setup? Judging from this clip, there was a lot of demand to see the floats and be part of the processions, both in the city and at the beach. I bet it was a lot of fun! 🤩
