🇯🇵Is Gifu’ Kakamigahara Air & Space Museum Worth the Drive? | 岐阜かかみがはら航空宇宙博物館✈️
I drove out to the Gifu Kakamigahara Air and Space Museum (岐阜かかみがはら航空宇宙博物館) after reading thousands of glowing Google reviews — and wow, it did not disappoint.
While the museum isn’t accessible by public transport, the fascinating aircraft displays and space exhibits made it worth the trip.
There were free screenings on Japan’s aviation and rocket history (filming not allowed, sorry!), and I got hands-on with two flight simulators — one for fighter jets and another for civilian planes.
Safe to say, I’m probably not cut out to be a pilot, but it was a blast trying!
