【伊豆観光】下田市のグルメと観光を堪能する伊豆ドライブ旅行が最高すぎた!伊豆旅行vlog

Good morning, this is bien! I travel two or three times a month , and this time I’m going to Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Shimoda City is located in the southern part of the Izu Peninsula. It’s a popular tourist destination with beautiful beaches, spectacular views of nature, hot springs, and gourmet food . Shimoda is a port town blessed with a rich sea, and it has the highest landing volume of kinmedai in the country. I hope you’ll enjoy Shimoda’s gourmet food and sightseeing. Please watch until the end. Tokyo now: Tokyo ⇨ Atami is a bullet train, then transfer from Atami to Izukyu-Shimoda. It takes about 40 minutes by bullet train from Tokyo to Atami . If you just stare at the scenery, you’ll arrive in no time. As always, Mt. Fuji is so impressive that you won’t believe your eyes. I arrived at Atami, so I changed to platform 1 and headed for Izukyu-Shimoda . It’s not a limited express train or a reserved seat, so if you can’t get a seat , it’s pretty hellish. I have about an hour and a half to go. There are limited express trains that you can get from Tokyo in one go if you go a little later, but there aren’t any early ones… If that happens, you’ll arrive too late, so it’s difficult (if you want to go early). I found platform 1. It was about 3 minutes after I left the Shinkansen , so I wasn’t sure if I had arrived, but looking at this view reminded me of the first scene in Kiki’s Delivery Service. I arrived at Izukyu Shimoda. This is my third time to the Izu Peninsula, but I ‘ve always driven around in a rental car from Mishima or Ito, so this is my first time coming here by train. The weather is unsettled in May, so I was worried about what I would do if it rained, but it cleared up safely. Can I smell the sea? The Susquehanna, which smells of the sea, is said to be the ship that Commodore Perry was on when the Black Ships arrived in the late Edo period. There are lots of bus stops here, such as those to the aquarium and Dogashima. You can also go to Nishiizu and Minamiizu, and many other places. There are also buses to the sand ski resort.Well , it seems great even if you don’t have a car. There is also a foot bath on the rotary side of Izukyu-Shimoda Station.Rental cars are a little far away, aren’t they? This time I’m using Nico Nico Rent-A-Car.There are plenty of restaurants in front of the station.Ah , the ropeway is here. It’s close. It’s really close from the station.I’ll take the Shimoda Ropeway later, but for now I’m hungry so I ‘ll rent a car and go eat something.I can see Nico Nico Rent-A-Car.Get the rental car! First we arrived at a roadside station It’s only 10:18 now so there are no restaurants open so I’m going to take a stroll around the roadside station and try the local specialty, golden-eyed snapper, at Kinmedai Its opening hours are rather unique as it is open in the morning from 7am to 9:30am and lunch from 11am to 3pm It is not open in the evenings This roadside station also has a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, which is unusual for a roadside station The entire second floor is Shimodakan Open from 9am This is my first time on the second floor This is the entranceThe entire Shimodakan Outdoor Nature Experience Information Centre Looks fun! The golden-eyed snapper miso soup I found in the souvenir shop was incredibly deliciousIs it only available for these three days? The Kurofune Festival (Kurofunesai) Hydrangea Festival is held in June for a month from June 1st to 30thTime travel to Izu Shimoda at the end of the Edo periodThis is the conveyor belt sushi restaurantI was originally thinking of going here but this time I went to KinmedeiI think it also opens at 11amThe multi-purpose support ship Enshu is said to be arriving from Yokosuka Base in time for the Kurofune Festival starting tomorrowWhat you can see in the back is the Kurofune reception desk, where you can board the Kurofune sightseeing boatThere ‘s a torii gateWhat ‘s that? What should I eat at Kinmedei? Maybe I’ll have the local fish sashimi set mealOpening hours are 7am-9.30am, Opening hours are 7am-9.30am and 11am-3pmClosed on TuesdaysThey open about 5 minutes before opening time! They open early, which is great. I ate my set meal while looking at the ocean view. I ordered the sashimi set meal and the boiled golden eye set meal . First, the sashimi set meal. Today’s sashimi , 2 slices of each of 5 different kinds of sashimi. The smell of the miso soup is really good. It smells really good. This is boiled golden eye snapper. First, I’ll start with the miso soup . Is this seaweed? I think it has a nice smell that goes up to your nose. It was really good (flavorful and delicious). Next, the sashimi! I added a lot of wasabi. At first glance it looked like there wasn’t much, but it was cut quite thickly and was very fresh and delicious. Next, I had tuna . I don’t usually order tuna at sushi restaurants, so it was very fresh. I came to Shimoda, but I thought it was a bit too much . My partner ordered boiled red snapper, so I’ll have some later. It was boiled, but the meat was firmer than I expected , and the sauce, or should I say the seasoning, was really delicious. The flavor wasn’t too strong, so I wanted some rice. I had four slices left, and this was the best. I enjoyed the sashimi and boiled red snapper. The seasoning of the boiled version was also delicious, but I feel like the sashimi set meal is more satisfying. So if you come with more than two people, one person orders the boiled version and the other the sashimi, and you share it, and your satisfaction is doubled. I ‘m full, but I think I could eat a little more. I think I’ll try the Shimoda burger too. The sashimi set meal, I didn’t know how much the Shimoda burger was, so I’ll ask. It’s the real deal! I found a good seat ! It’s hot and tough to eat outside in July and August, but it’s good to eat outside in May and June. The wind isn’t that strong today, so the atmosphere is so good! The Shimoda Burger arrived. You can cut it and share it (knives are provided). This burger shop is easy to eat! The best! We went on a streak of local gourmet food! The best! It’s a pretty good size ! It was cut surprisingly straight, so you can easily eat it if you share it. The inside is fried golden-eyed snapper. It’s delicious, even the second bite is delicious. At first, I thought it was a typical local burger, right? I had a twisted impression of it, but it’s really good! I think this is one of the best local burgers I’ve ever eaten. The golden-eyed snapper is delicious, but the sauce is also delicious. As I was eating, I saw the shadow of a black kite! Oh! It’s not a black kite, it’s a sparrow! Eh? ! It’s not close lol? Do sparrows come this close? The delicious smell of the Shimoda Burger drew the sparrows in. There’s a black kite in the sky! It’s rotating, you’re really looking at it, aren’t you? I’ll never give this to you, but this is something called fries, this outside part is really tasty, the crispy part is surprisingly quite edible , I wasn’t that hungry, but after eating the burger I’m feeling hungrier instead, thank you for the meal! So the bien drive started (what’s this all of a sudden?) For some reason, my bike was waiting at a traffic light on the road lol Next , I went to the Shimoda Ropeway for the first time in my life . There are various things in the summit area. The fare is 1500 yen round trip for one adult. It seems to run every 15 minutes, so I was able to get on without waiting too much. Now we’re off. The length to the summit is 540 meters , and it takes about 3 and a half minutes to arrive at the summit, Nesugatayama Station . In no time at all, we reached the top . Below us spread out the beautiful scenery of Shimoda, a city that opened its doors to the world, surrounded by mountains and the sea. I thought I would walk a lot for exercise after dinner, but even the farthest part is only a 5-minute walk . It’s all close. There is a restaurant attached to the summit station of the Shimoda Ropeway , so you can enjoy the scenery and food at the same time. It’s rare for a ropeway station and a restaurant to be next to each other. I thought it was all close for 5 minutes, but it started with stairs. I thought it was 5 minutes, so I had no problem, but it said “thank you for your hard work !” The observation deck is on the right. Surprisingly, it took a few minutes for my feet to get tired. I arrived at the first checkpoint, Nesugata Observatory. Isn’t this the place where the torii gate was? That’s where I enjoyed a sashimi set meal and Shimoda burger earlier. What was it again ? This type of carp has long fins (they say it’s called fin-long Nishikigoi). Please don’t throw money in (they say it’s called fin-long Nishikigoi).I set up the camera stand here. This camphor tree was born about 50 years ago when it split a big rock.It ‘s a tree with a lot of vitality and has been growing ever since. It ‘s said that if you walk around this camphor tree, you will live a long and healthy life.I’ll walk right away. For now, if you walk around it, you will live a long and healthy life.So Shimoda is easy to visit. It ‘s hard to walk around this kind of place because it’s such a long distance. This is just for a moment. Please give me the stamina to travel to various places like this in 2025 ! There were fewer bugs than I expected and it was easy to walk.Next I discovered Ryoma-kun at the observation deck.Stripping your knuckles brings good luck.Yeah , it’s so smooth. It must get smooth from all the friction you get from doing this every day.The sense of distance is amazing.Doesn’t the earth look round ?The horizon certainly looks really wide. This place is amazing. It looks a little more open than before. Also the sun is coming out, which is good timing. The horizon looks really wide, but it’s a bit cloudy or gassy in the back, so you can’t see clearly to the distance. The beautiful scenery of Shimoda, Shimoda is the best. Each spot is close by, so it’s very easy to sightsee. Finally , is this the end point? There’s a toilet here. There ‘s a toilet and a rest area. There ‘s also a smoking area. There ‘s also a vending machine.Amazing.Shimoda and Taiwan have signed a friendship agreement. That’s right. This is where you do the Nagomi ball.Want to try the Nagomi ball challenge? Set of 4 Nagomite balls 300 yen Challenge Time How to throw Nagomite balls There are versions for one and two players When throwing with one player, you pass the Nagomite ball through the hoop and hit the stone at the end With two players, you throw it at the same time, pass it through the left and right hoops, and hit the stone at the end It’s difficult lol For now, let’s play two at a time with one player Set of four They have such a healthy and healthy expression I want to sleep soundly like this every day Apparently you have to pass through the hoop you see in the back It’s pretty difficult This looks easy when you look at it like this If you can get it through the middle , you should be able to do it Let’s try to succeed in one try Dart method Is the dart method okay? First throw It looks heavy at first glance, but it ‘s actually quite light Maybe it’s better to throw it sideways rather than like a baseball Like a frisbee? I thought we could definitely do it, but it was really difficult My partner hit the stone! Under deliberation… ended in failure A really big frog No, it’s rich in nature. There aren’t many insects, but there are a lot of lizards. You can hear them rustling about once a minute. There’s a cannon at the end. Lookout? After seeing the cannon, I’ll go down on the ropeway and burn off some calories before dinner, so I’m going to walk around the tourist spots along the sea ! Look at the cannon! It’s a small restoration of a lookout post at the end of the Edo period. This is the cannon that was loaded onto an American ship, right on the left ? If you think about it, they came up with a weapon like a cannon. This is One View Square. It’s okay to put your dog on the ground, but be sure to take its poop with you. In the back, I found something like a sauna chair. There’s no one here ! There’s also a photo spot . Isn’t this the angle? It has a bit of a resort feel to it. It’s a nice place . I got off on the way, but it’s a place with a good view. I like it. Please subscribe to my channel. The area around Izukyu-Shimoda Station is really close, so it’s nice. Suddenly, a security guard started talking to me, saying “Big brother.” What’s up? When I asked him, he said “Please be careful on the way ” in a tone like this. His first words were not like “Be careful because a lot of people get excited on their trip and have accidents with rental cars”. He suddenly said ” Please be careful on the way “. We came to a magnificent view of the ocean – parking is 500 yen (I guess it was paid lol). Next we came to Tsumekizaki, I wonder. Love Lighthouse . You walk from here to the lighthouse. Or is it a promenade? From a distance, this view from above is much more beautiful. The water is shallow and maybe there’s something swimming there. No, the ocean is beautiful too. Let’s walk towards the lighthouse. Let ‘s go ! Is this a trash can? It was a trash can . It’s a good thing, but the road is too well maintained so it doesn’t really tickle your sense of adventure. This place also has a unique topography. There are no trees or anything on top, so there ‘s no shade, so it’s extremely hot. Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, Tsumekizaki. Let’s depart . Amazing view. It’s hot even though it’s May! Wow, which one is this? Is this the Ueno Daffodil Colony (apparently it’s beautiful in season) ? What month are daffodils in season (apparently early January to late February)? Are there stairs over there? It’s so hot that even the dog dives into the sea. It’s so cracked, right? Is it this way? If you climb this, you’ll reach the lighthouse. Moment of despair . Ah, despair 2. I wonder if it takes less than 10 minutes to walk here. Tsumekizaki Lighthouse stands at the tip of the Susaki Peninsula, which juts out from the east coast of the Izu Peninsula . Its sleek white silhouette stands majestically on high ground with nothing to obstruct it, just like the image of a lighthouse that people have in their minds. It’s surprisingly narrow, this width feels oppressive ! It’s like lizards playing tag! Is it the tail season? The lighthouse comes into view. What a wonderful view. But surprisingly, it doesn’t look round at all. The birds don’t run away at all. I wonder if they’re not used to humans. This lighthouse isn’t one you can climb, but let’s take a look at the view from around here. The rocks are kind of round! り と … I can’t see my feet very well, maybe I ‘ll give up. I’m also a bit curious about that cave-like place I can see further back. Time passes so leisurely, thank you! Tsumekizaki Grandma handed it to me with a grin. There’s a seaside tourist spot near the restaurant where we’re having dinner, so I think I’ll take a look around there. There’s a small remote island, or rather a place you can cross by a bridge, but it’s a pretty narrow road ! I can see that bridge. I wonder if I can cross it. This is Karijima. Karijima . Is there an island over there too ? Is the Bayside Promenade shaking? There’s a slight creaking sound ! It’s shaking surprisingly well. It’s shaking a lot. I didn’t know there was a place like this before . The pillars have collapsed. The sea is emerald green. Wow, amazing. The pillars are just bare bones. This is the first time I’ve seen this. In a way, it’s a rare sight. This Wow, this place is just bones like this Inside, is this some kind of fishing spot? The sea is beautiful There ‘s what looks like a parking lot over there, but are people fishing there? It seems like you can’t go over here, can you ? Oh, I wonder if there was originally a promenade here It looks like the title of a Conan movie (the promenade on the opposite bank) It’s a really unique view Looking closely, there are a lot of fishermen It sways quite a bit Speaking of Shimoda, it’s the opening of the country Speaking of opening up the country, it ‘s Perry, so Perry Road is probably the one I’m talking about Are there several restaurants and other establishments on Perry Road ? There’s a cannon There’s a 30-pound carronade made in 1829 Monument to the arrival of Perry’s fleet You go to the right here and then walk along Perry Road It was an explanation of the terrain This is the monument to Perry’s landing Monument to the arrival of Perry’s fleet A large area of southern Izu is land that was created by undersea volcanoes and volcanic islands before Izu collided with Honshu The anchors that were actually used were donated by the US Navy I wonder how heavy they were The mountains are unique – mountains and the sea That’s the restaurant where we had the boat and sashimi set meal! That’s the roadside station and the Shimoda Ropeway is over there. Yes, yes, that’s how it is. I realized how close it is and it’s very easy to go sightseeing. Come back this way and you’ll see Benten Bridge. Turn left and take a walk along Perry Road. What a strong smell! 思い出しました。 English : (But it smells good) It smells really good There are ducks walking The tide is out a little, so it’s too shallow so they can’t swim and are walking They look so cute as they walk lol The fish swim out so gracefully They ‘re not going to eat the fish, they just run away Ah , it’s nice It’s not that there’s any atmosphere There’s not much there lol But the atmosphere is great Perry Road is basically a straight road There aren’t many people around Apparently it’s also called the Jasmine Temple, so these flowers are probably jasmine It smells amazing Just like this car and the flower It smells really good even from this distance Ah , it’s amazing The smell Ah they’re using an electric fence So you can get electrocuted Wow , what an amazing sight Ryosenji Temple is also the place where the Japan-US Treaty of Shimoda was signed But somehow my nose is getting used to it Also, as I saw on Perry Road earlier, hundreds of American jasmine plants are planted from the temple grounds to the approach , so it’s also famous as a jasmine temple Next, I head to a mysterious shrine by the sea I have arrived at Shirahama Shrine The torii gate is so beautiful It looks like new So beautiful Shirahama Shrine is just the nickname, and the official name is Ikonahime no Mikoto Shrine Huh ? : The temizuya (purification fountain) has dried up, so please do not wash your feet or body there. There is a beach nearby, so it seems that some people wash their feet here. The sacred tree , Yakushi no Byakushin, is 2000 years old. This is the sacred tree of Hakuryu, Mimome Benzaiten, whose blessings are matchmaking, child-bearing, and marital harmony. It is an incredibly impressive shrine , and with a history of 2400 years, it is said to be the oldest shrine in Izu.The path to the main shrine is closed until 3:45pm, and it is now past 4pm and closed. If you go through this way from the side of the parking lot, you will reach Shirahama Beach. After visiting the coastal torii gate, please visit Shirahama Shrine. That was the wrong order, the coast is first, I heard. Please do not leave money near the torii gates on the coast.Wow , we’re almost
at the beach, it’s nice.Shimoda is all close now, isn’t it? There are people thereThe beaches are connected like this, aren’t they? It’s so open, so all connected here, from the swimming beach that we could see from the road we just passed, this is the coastal torii gateIt ‘s quite shallow, does n’t it? The waves are so fast! It’s such a mysterious sight! The color of the sea is kind of light blue. This side has collapsed, so I wonder if you could have crossed it somehow in the past. This side is also very popular for taking commemorative photos. There is a beautiful beach stretching out. I was thinking of taking a commemorative photo here, but it looks like it won’t be open for a while. Tonight we have seafood for dinner, too . Amazing. There are Japanese and American flags lined up in a row. Japanese and American flags lined up. I’m really hungry. Tonight we’re going to a restaurant that is also serving sushi for the first time in a while ! I heard that their Sendon is famous, but they’re open and they’re opening a little early, which is great. I’m going to eat at this restaurant tonight. Their seafood chirashi is popular, but there are many other delicious looking menu items, so I had a hard time deciding. The first dish that came was the ponzu sauce with a strong jelly . I wonder if it’s called ponzu sauce jelly, but it goes great with the monkfish liver, and it was really delicious. I was able to enjoy the best dishes from the first dish. Assorted golden-eyed snapper and vegetable tempura. This is all golden-eyed snapper. The tempura is thicker than I thought, and it looks really delicious. I’ll start with this big one. It’s amazing , it looks like a pumpkin at first glance. This restaurant is popular for its seafood chirashi, but the tempura is really delicious. And it’s golden-eyed snapper, a specialty of Shimoda, so you should definitely try it. This is delicious. The sushi has arrived. It’s luxurious sushi. The boiled golden-eyed snapper has arrived, and it looks delicious too. I walked a lot today, so I want to eat a lot. Just as it looks. No, it was even more delicious than it looked . The texture of the rice was also great. I ate the tempura alternately with the sushi. It was so delicious! Sushi , seaweed rolled scallops , everything was delicious, honestly. The sushi, tempura, and boiled golden eye all went well together, and I ate it up in no time . Wow, I found a great restaurant. The tables are spacious, so you can eat in a relaxed atmosphere, and the service was pretty fast. You can also reserve a seat in advance, so if it’s crowded on the day, you don’t have to line up, so it’s just the best. Before I knew it, I wanted to have the last two pieces. It was so stylish that I wanted to eat something more, so I ordered duck wasabi. This was also delicious, it went well with wasabi, and it was healthy, so I ate it up in no time. For dessert, I had pudding. It was a cream cheese pudding with new summer orange jelly. It looked delicious, and then there was Chu-pudding . It was the perfect pudding after a meal. Wow , from start to finish, my stomach was happy . It was really emotional. I think it’s one of the best value for money out of all the restaurants I’ve eaten at recently . I felt like they put a lot of effort into their food, which was great. Not only were the ingredients good, but the cooking was also good. It was delicious. It got dark while I was eating .間と一緒に おいしいお野菜とおいしいお酒を楽しみました。 English: The atmosphere of the town is completely different, so when it gets dark it’s hard to tell what’s going on . I’m checking into tonight’s hotel , which has a private bath. I made a reservation for 7:20 to 8:00, but it ‘s already past 7:20, so I’ll probably not arrive until around 7:30, but since it’s a private reservation I was told I could use it until 8:00, so I told them I had to hurry as much as possible. Anyway I checked in safely . It’s a private bath, but it only lasts 20 minutes, so I think I’ll just wash my body and be done. I probably wo n’t have time to use it . Well, let’s just go in for a bit. I don’t have time, so I was in a hurry earlier. Let’s go get some ice cream or some dessert. What an amazing road. It ‘s pretty dark. The boats at the roadside station were lit up, right? I wonder if they’re still open. The first roadside station I came to today is over there. Today I had lunch at Kanemedei over there . At night , the boats were lit up, so I decided to take a detour. I came here for an evening walk. Maybe it’s better to see it from a little further away. The lit-up black ships are quite nice, can you see them in the distance ? This is also pretty amazing from here , super amazing. Where is it coming from? There’s a light over here , and the color of the light changes little by little, it’s amazing , wow! The sound of the ship creaking is a little scary It’s pretty dark Except for where the lights are , the roads and the road to get here were pitch black It was a little scary It’s amazing I haven’t seen much of this I always go to bed early and get up early At night I didn’t really look up night views or places with illuminations like this so it was a coincidence I’m glad it’s nearby It has a bit of an overseas feel which is nice I thought I’d stay at this hotel at first Come to think of it, it has a calm atmosphere like this I bought an icebox for now What should I do There are no people in front of the station Icebox is really good Even if I eat this much it’s only 15 calories As expected there is no one The footbath is open from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm Tomorrow we will walk to the scenic spots along the coast from Minamiizu to Nishiizu and enjoy seafood Please take this opportunity to subscribe to our channel and look forward to the next video Thank you for watching What will be next time? !
