Opened in 2014 / The local study “Hand-mill millstone experience” “Hand-made Karasuyama washi paper” / Renovated facility

“Classic but new”. Hoshino Resort KAI has three inns in Tochigi Prefecture; Kinugawa, Nikko, and Kawaji.“KAI Kawaji” renovated a large inn with a mountain stream and mountains in the background and opened in 2014. Gourds, a specialty of Tochigi, are used as lamps to create a magical space. You can enjoy the extraordinary. The footbath in the courtyard feels great with the trees in the courtyard and the mountain stream below. It is a highly recommended spot.
