I went to Gyoda Flower Water Pillow Week, a city-wide initiative in Gyoda, Saitama Prefecture, famous for its tabi socks. I was soothed by the flower water pilgrimages displayed in front of shops all over town, as well as at the ruins of Oshi Castle and Gyoda Hachiman Shrine.
