Hello everyone, this is Masabou. This video is about a gourmet stroll around Sapporo that I visited during Golden Week this year. The day before this shoot, I arrived at Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station by Shinkansen, so I had a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before traveling by train to Sapporo Station. In fact, when I was riding my road bike around Hokkaido last summer vacation, I also rode on the same roads as this video. At that time, my wife, who traveled with me by train and bus, easily overtook me around here, but I won’t tell you that. First we went to “Kinotoya” located in “Daimaru Sapporo” directly connected to Sapporo Station, where we enjoyed delicious “Croquant Choux” and “Exquisite Dorayaki” . And we must not forget the currently popular “Niseko Maple Butter”. There was a line that stretched outside the department store, but we waited in line for about 30 minutes and were able to get all the kinds of sweets. After that, there was a cake shop I wanted to go to, so we walked there, but on the way we enjoyed sweets from “Kinotoya” in a park. This time we start with that video. Now, let’s eat. “Niseko Maple Butter” is named after the shop . This shop is a branch of “Snow Cheese”. There were two shops nearby in “Daimaru Sapporo Store”. I will try this one. It’s delicious. The texture of this crispy pie outside is also great, but the slight sweetness of the maple butter inside mixes just right in your mouth and is delicious. What is this round thing in the middle? The thing in the middle is a macadamia nut. The texture is a nice accent . Last. Let’s eat. It’s delicious. And today, of course, I’ll have black coffee. It’s a light snack, but each one has 116 kcal. It was delicious. Next is the second snack, “Walnut and Butter”. This is also a snack made by layering maple butter almond cream and walnuts on a pie tart base and baking them. If you look at the cross section, you can see the walnuts. It looks delicious. At Colon I got 3 kinds of bread that caught my eye, total of 4 pieces. At Morimoto I bought a limited edition cake from Marui Imai Sapporo. Next I went to the Paris Dora specialty shop of Senshuan in the nearby Sapporo Mitsukoshi. Please like and subscribe! I checked into the hotel and decided to eat what I bought. Before dessert, I wanted to eat something salty, so I stopped by the Sapporo Mitsukoshi store. I bought fried chicken, meatballs, and yakitori thighs at Ginza En. I’ll eat these first, and then I’ll eat dessert. Let’s eat. This is fried chicken with curry spices. It’s good for my hungry body! I’ll eat this and then I’ll gorge on dessert . Let’s start with the Marquise Chocolat from Patisserie Shiya for 650 yen. It’s chocolate, so it melts quickly. Here’s what the cross section looks like. It’s a rich chocolate cake. Let’s eat. It’s a rich, sticky chocolate cake. It’s very delicious. Let’s try the decorations on top. There’s a little bit of gold dust on it. It seems to use cacao from Ecuador. It’s a very rich chocolate cake. It’s delicious. Next is Marie Therese from Patisserie Shiya for 650 yen. This is a mousse made with Dominican cacao. It has raspberries on top . Let’s eat . This is a cross section. There are several layers of chocolate mousse with raspberries on top. I wonder if the jam on top is also raspberry jam? Let’s eat. It’s delicious. The previous cake was a rich chocolate cake, but this one has a sour taste of raspberries and is a well-balanced cake. There is a thin layer of chocolate on top. What is this base? The chocolate part is also rich like the previous chocolate cake, but it is delicious with just the right harmony with the sourness of the berries on top. This is the third cake from “Pâtisserie Shiya”. “Mceveille” 650 yen. It’s a very elaborate rare cheesecake. Now let’s cut it and eat it. It’s very soft. The knife went in smoothly . This is a cross section. There is blueberry compote inside and a crispy ginger-flavored almond sable on the bottom. I would like to try a bite first. It melts smoothly the moment you put it in your mouth. It is a rare cheesecake that melts in your mouth very easily. There are blueberries on top and the knife goes in easily. There is plenty of blueberry compote inside and a ginger-flavored almond sable at the bottom. I tried three types of cakes from “Patisserie Shiiya”. All of the cakes are very elegant and delicious. The bread in the back is “Hokkaido Corn Rustic” 324 yen, the bread on the front right is “Cinnamon Roll” 324 yen, and the bread on the front left is “OMOCHI Anpan Sakura” 324 yen. This is a limited-time item. Since it is cherry blossom season, they were selling cherry blossom mochi anpan so I bought these three kinds. I will start with the “Hokkaido Corn Rustic” . It is warm and chewy with lots of corn inside. You can really feel the chewy texture when you break it with your hands, but when you eat it, the chewy texture is even more amazing. Is it a high hydration bread? It’s delicious! After all the sweet things, this saltiness is even more delicious! It feels like the corn is kneaded into the dough, shaped, and baked. Lastly, this is delicious. Next up is the “Cinnamon Roll”. There are raisins on top. Let’s cut it. We have a simple knife and fork, so we’ll cut it. This is the cross section. Cinnamon is kneaded between the layers, and raisins are on top. On top is a sugar coating , and this coating falls off in pieces. This is a bread that has a pretty sweet taste. There is a strong cinnamon flavor. It feels like there is a lot of cinnamon kneaded into it. This is also delicious. The third “Boulangerie Colon” “OMOCHI Anpan” It’s “Sakura”. It has cherry blossom bean paste inside, so I think that when you cut it, a pink bean paste will come out. Let’s cut it . It’s poppy seeds. Small grains stick together and when you cut it, there is a layer of rice cake on the bottom and cherry blossom bean paste on top. I eat this with my hands as well. This would have been delicious warmed up but I would like to eat it as is without heating it. Let’s eat. Since I’ve come all the way here, I would like to warm it up a little and eat it . The rice cake and cherry blossom bean paste are also nicely warmed up. It looks delicious. Let’s eat. When I warm it in the microwave, the flavor like sesame balls spreads softly in my mouth and it seems that this is made with rice flour. Next is “Morimoto” from “Marui Imai Sapporo Store” I bought “Haskap Berry” for 531 yen I wasn’t planning on buying this cake but I happened to see it and it looked so delicious so I ended up buying it I’ll start with this I think it’s chocolate I’ll start with this It’s delicious Now I wonder if I can get the blueberry part out properly so I can’t show the cross section It comes out smoothly and a beautiful cross section appears It ‘s mousse It has layers, what is this underneath? There is a chocolate layer in the middle and haskap mousse on top This jelly on top is also haskap I’ll eat this It’s delicious It has quite a sour taste so the sourness of the haskap and berries and the sweetness of the chocolate are just right I’ll also eat the strawberry part What is this mousse underneath? I couldn’t tell when I tried it, but it tastes like caramel. Maybe it’s caramel mousse ? This cake is delicious. At the bottom there is a base that looks like a darker chocolate. It is chocolate. This is delicious . It says that this is a cake that is only available at “Marui Imai Sapporo Store” . You can only buy this cake at “Morimoto” in “Marui Imai Sapporo Store”. It’s delicious. There are so many delicious things to eat in Sapporo that it’s hard to always have enough time and stomach capacity. All of the gourmet food we had on this day was delicious. We had the “Croquant Chou Zaku Zaku” from “Kinotoya” in the park, which was literally crunchy and had a really delicious custard cream. And the cake from the popular “Pâtisserie Shiiya” that we were looking forward to that day was rich and luxurious, and as expected, it was delicious. And the “Haskap Berry Cake” from “Morimoto”, which is only available at the “Marui Imai Sapporo Store”, which was not on our schedule, was even more delicious than we expected, and after editing it, we wanted to eat it again. Then we went to “Boulangerie Colon’s “Hokkaido Corn Rustic” was very delicious with its chewy dough and high water content, and the sweetness of the corn added to it.
