【奈良1泊2日ひとり旅】定番の観光スポットやグルメを堪能。日本屈指のパワースポットの神社へ【大人の修学旅行】
Hello, this is “ichitabi”. This time, my destination is Nara Prefecture. This is a compilation of two days and one night condensed into one video. Now that the Hanshin train can be directly connected from Sannomiya Station in downtown Kobe, it is easy to go to Nara. The carriages near the ticket gates are quite crowded, so I move. The ride takes about an hour and 20 minutes and costs 1,100 yen. There are a lot more foreign tourists than around Osaka. I arrived at Kintetsu Nara Station. On the first day, I’m going to go to places that many people have visited in their student days, with the feeling of an adult school trip. First of all, I’m going to enjoy the food of Nara right near Kintetsu Nara Station. This is a restaurant that is almost right in front of the station. It’s a very popular restaurant. “Japanese Food and Sake Yamatoan Kintetsu Nara Ekimae Branch” is a restaurant located right outside the east exit of Kintetsu Nara Station. I came at opening time, but there was already a line. It seems that reservations have already entered. I waited in line for about 30 minutes. I have already decided what I will eat today, and it is the “Yamatoan Gozen” which allows you to taste ingredients and dishes from Nara. There are many other attractive lunch menus. The price of the popular Kamameshi varies slightly depending on the menu you choose. It is usually between 1200 and 1600 yen. “Yamatoan Gozen” 2100 yen It is a real gozen with meat, sashimi, tempura, etc. Everything looks delicious. First of all, I started with the rolled sushi. The rich taste of the egg is the best. This looks like a soup, but in fact Nara is famous for somen noodles, and this is “nyumen” in a warm soup. This was really delicious. Rare steak of Yamato beef. It tasted like the soft roast beef you would eat in a luxury hotel. The rice was also very delicious. Actually, everything is delicious. Nara is a landlocked prefecture, but for some reason the seafood is of a high standard. The sashimi I ate deep in the mountains of Nara was also really delicious. The tempura was also crispy. I can see why this is a popular restaurant. It’s definitely worth waiting in line to eat. This is Nara pickles, but I don’t really like them. But I was able to eat the ones at this restaurant. They’re not bitter at all, and very refreshing. Maybe they’re actually delicious when you eat them in the original place. For dessert, we had yokan. It’s not too sweet, so it’s perfect after a meal. It was a very satisfying lunch. I recommend it. After enjoying an adult lunch, next we went to Todaiji Temple, feeling like we were on an adult school trip. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the station. On the way to Nara Park, there’s a Starbucks with a stylish interior that I recommend. I’ve come to a big intersection where I haven’t seen “Sento-kun” in a while . If you go to the right, you’ll see “Kasuga Taisha Shrine” and if you go to the left, you’ll see “Todaiji Temple”. There are overwhelmingly more foreign tourists. I immediately encountered a deer. For those of you from overseas, please don’t feed the deer anything other than the “shika senbei” that are sold. Feeding them human food will make them sick. The reason why there are deer in Nara Park is because they have been well protected as messengers of the gods since the construction of Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Last time I came on a holiday and it was very crowded, but this time it was a weekday. Still, there were quite a lot of people. It was much better than a holiday. The deer no longer had antlers because the antlers had been cut off. But still, this deer has some dignity. A large gate appeared. “This is the middle gate.” On both sides of the middle gate, two of the four heavenly kings who protect the Buddha are enshrined. On the left is “Jikokuten” and on the right is “Tamonten.” From this point onwards, there is a fee. There are customers from various countries lined up. There was no particular wait time. Adults are 800 yen. It’s 200 yen higher than last time. It has an overwhelming presence. It is a very impressive building. There are many Japanese students on school trips. This is the “octagonal lantern.” Please take a look at the roof part at the entrance. The wood is very intricately assembled and it is very impressive. Now, let’s go inside the Great Buddha Hall. No matter how many times I see it, it’s still impressive. They dissolved gold in a large amount of mercury, applied it to the surface, and finally heated it over a fire to evaporate the mercury and gold plate it. In other words, it used to shine gold. I didn’t think anything of it when I came here as a child, but places like this are fun only when you become an adult. The Great Buddha Hall of Todaiji Temple was burned down twice, in 1180 and 1567. It was scaled down when rebuilt. If it had remained at this scale, Nara might have been more popular than Kyoto. The famous pillar hole crawl is very popular with foreigners. A lot of school trip students tried it. I used to pass by it too. For some reason, I want to see the Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple regularly. It’s good to see it no matter how many times. Seeing the flow of people like this makes me wonder how much Todaiji Temple makes in a day. It must be a huge amount. There was a little deer. It’s so cute. It’s kind of dusk. What are they thinking? This time, I’m going to visit “Nigatsudo” for the first time. This deer managed to escape the horn cutting but still has its antlers. It looks super strong. Maybe it’s some kind of boss? But it bows politely. It bows but doesn’t need any more deer crackers lol “Nigatsudo” It has such a nice atmosphere that I regret not coming here before. You can see all the way to Nara city in the distance. It’s so beautiful. A very atmospheric staircase. Elementary school students run up it. I could never do it. I would probably fall over lol A deer eating grass . Next we went down a different path but it was very beautiful. I had no idea such a place existed until now. At first we left Todaiji and went under the torii gate on the left, but if you turn left again you will find yourself on the same path as before. It is called “Nigatsudo Ura Sando”. Next we headed to “Kasuga Taisha”. My feet hurt. This is a paid area. If you come to Kasuga Taisha you should definitely go in. The ticket booth is on the right as you enter the entrance. It costs 700 yen. It was just sunset time, so the setting sun was beautiful. Many people came to Kasuga Taisha Shrine, but few people were in the paid admission area. I wonder why? Beyond the black cloth was a lit-up lantern. It was pitch black, so it was mysterious. Maybe there was a mirror. It felt strange, as if countless spaces were spreading out. A tree branched out along the way, trying to break through the roof of Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Has it been living here for over a thousand years? It had an incredible presence. I’m tired. It’s about time for a cafe. Sorry. I don’t have any “deer crackers”. As cute as ever. And mysterious. The cafe I’m going to today is about 15 minutes from Nara Park towards “Naramachi”. I found a shop that looked really good. “Music and Coffee” This is a high level place to go. Well. It’s for adults (lol). It’s more amazing than I imagined. It’s a complete bar. It seems they have a little bit of alcohol too. Hot coffee 600 yen This was shockingly delicious. It’s not a dark roast, but a medium-dark roast, with a strong aroma and a truly exquisite cup of coffee. Rare cheesecake over 500 yen, you can’t go wrong. It melts in your mouth the moment you put it in, and you can’t help but say it’s delicious. The moment I entered this shop, I was asked, “It will take some time, is that okay?” There were about four customers, and everyone was alone. Now I understand why. Usually, when two coffee orders are placed, the beans are ground and dripped at the same time, but this shop takes orders from one person at a time. It must be delicious. You should allow yourself plenty of time. Donuts 200 yen These are baked after the order is placed. The work is extremely careful. It’s probably the most delicious donuts I’ve ever eaten. It’s very simple, but maybe because it’s not fried, it’s not heavy and gentle. It’s also interesting that everyone comes alone. I guess it’s only for people who really love coffee. By the way, there were four customers ahead of me, and I waited about 20 minutes for coffee and other drinks to come. I’ve been to many cafes all over the country, but this one is in my top three. This is the first time I’ve been to such an adult cafe. I highly recommend it for a break when traveling alone. The location is hard to find at first. It’s located in an alley in the shopping district. Today’s accommodation is a 3-minute walk from JR Nara Station. Hotels are expensive in Nara. A normal business hotel costs over 10,000 yen. But there is a way to get a cheaper one. Places like Nara and Kyoto that are popular with foreigners from Europe and America are cheaper if you book late at night. Or during the day when Japanese people are working. “Smile Hotel Nara” Breakfast included 7,236 yen It’s a normal business hotel, but if you book during prime time, it would be 14,000 yen. So I made a reservation for the next day around 1pm. 7,000 yen. The important water facilities in the hotel were cleaned well, and the water pressure in the shower was very strong. You can’t fully stretch your legs, but you can relax in the bathtub. All the basic necessities are available. The room was quiet, and it’s very close to the station, so I think you’ll be very satisfied. Let’s go for dinner. The restaurant we’re going to this time is a popular restaurant that serves delicious seafood. As I mentioned earlier, Nara has delicious seafood. Maybe it’s because Wakayama is nearby? JR Nara station has been redeveloped and is very beautiful. When I came here before, there was nothing there, but now there are many hotels and shops. The restaurant is located just across the intersection in front of the station. “Izakaya Sakuraku SYURAKU” Draft beer 550 yen. It was delicious because I walked a lot. All seats are smoking-friendly, so if you absolutely cannot smoke, you may want to refrain from coming. Today’s recommended bonito tataki and marinated mackerel were sold out. Everyone is thinking the same thing. I wanted to eat it. The appetizer was also delicious. Basically, a restaurant that serves delicious appetizers will not fail. I’m sure this is a good restaurant. Guro Usushiri 649 yenKimeji Aburi Sushi 649 yenIt was my first time eating it, but it’s protein-rich and similar to sea bream sashimi. If you eat two pieces in one bite, you will be happy. This is also my first time. It is said to be a young yellowfin tuna. The taste is similar to bonito sashimi. Very delicious. The best. When eaten with condiments, the flavor is punchy and goes well with beer. Neck meat skewer 374 yenThis restaurant also serves yakitori, which is also authentic like a specialty restaurant. Delicious fish and yakitori are the best. It’s amazing. The first round is over. Of course there is sashimi, but there are also other izakaya menu items. In any case, the menu is rich. The price is also reasonable. Fried octopus 539 yenNegima skewer 374 yenHonchiri 374 yenEach piece of fried octopus is large and very satisfying. Naturally, it goes best with beer. It’s very delicious. I was torn between fried cartilage. When it comes to yakitori, I think “Negima” is the best. Don’t you think so? I think the person who combined it with green onions is a genius. I also like “ponchiri”. It goes well with beer. It makes you want rice. I realized later that there were grilled rice balls. I should have eaten them. I was very satisfied. I recommend it. The restaurant is on the third floor of this building. There is a drugstore next door. The first day in Nara was fun, like an adult school trip. It’s interesting to see things differently when you go as an adult. The second day of my trip to Nara. Today I’m going to one of Japan’s most famous power spots. First, I went to eat breakfast at the hotel. Hotels in Nara are expensive, and business hotels cost over 10,000 yen. I introduced a way to get a cheap hotel at the beginning, but this hotel is the Smile Hotel Nara, a 3-minute walk from JR Nara Station, and I got a room for 7,236 yen including breakfast. I didn’t expect much from the breakfast, but it was better than I expected. I especially recommend the Japanese food. I got the impression that there were a lot of foreigners. I was surprised to see a European couple skillfully using chopsticks in the seat behind me. If you want to visit Todaiji Temple or Naramachi the next day, it’s best to stay near Kintetsu Nara Station. JR Nara Station has been redeveloped and there are many new hotels. Finally, bread and coffee. The coffee here was delicious. Today we are going to Omiwa Shrine, said to be the oldest shrine in Japan. It does not have a main hall, but the sacred object is the mountain itself, called Miwayama. It is one of the most powerful spots in Japan. It’s amazing. I moved from the hotel to JR Nara Station. It took about 3 minutes. The atmosphere of JR Nara Station seems to have changed a lot. Was it like this? I took the Manyo Mahoroba Line Local Train to Sakurai. The ride took just under 30 minutes. There were many people dressed as hikers on the train. The person next to me was probably from Russia. I’m surprised they know about such an eccentric place. I wonder if it’s famous? Everyone got off about three stations before I was going. I got off at a station called Miwa. It’s more rural than I thought. I might like this. There was a very small ticket machine. There is a map inside the station showing how to get to the shrine. It’s about a 10-minute walk. It’s easy to get there. This is in front of the station. I really love the atmosphere. The atmosphere of the buildings is different, but the air may be somehow similar to Furano. A railroad crossing. There are so few of them now, so when I come to a place like this and cross the railroad crossing, I get a little excited for some reason. Does anyone know? The mountain you can see is probably “Miwa Mountain.” If you like urban legends, you probably know that the inside is a pyramid or something that was artificially created. There are various legends, such as UFOs appearing a lot. I’ve been to shrines all over the country, but I know that this is definitely an amazing shrine. It has the same atmosphere as the Geku of Ise Grand Shrine and Atsuta Shrine in Nagoya. As you go inside, you feel your heart become lighter. And today’s main event is “Miwa Mountain Climbing.” Filming and taking pictures is strictly prohibited. It’s better not to tell people what happened inside. I received a goshuin from “Miwa Myojin Ogami Shrine .” 300 yen. This shrine writes the name very carefully. It’s cool. To another shrine where you can “Miwa Mountain Climbing. ” “Prayer Hall” Ogami Shrine does not have a main hall, so prayers and weddings are held in this building. It’s a pretty big building. Then we went to “Sai Shrine,” where the entrance to “Miwa Mountain Worship” is located. This is the entrance. After the purification ritual, you can enter the mountain. Registration closes at 12:00. You can’t climb after that. The mountain is a sacred space, so you’re not allowed to take photos or bring back natural objects. Before climbing, fill out your emergency contact information, address, and phone number. You can borrow a walking stick. I didn’t use one, but it might be easier to have one on the way down. I went. This Miwayama Haiyama takes 2-3 hours round trip. I’ve been there for about 2 hours and 20 minutes with a good effort. There are two “Haiyama” a little further in Nara, but it’s the same feeling. 間と一緒に。またようね! English: I wanted to turn back many times along the way (lol ) . It’s hard to explain, but in one word it was an experience like that of Princess Mononoke. If you walk for another 20 minutes you will reach Hibara Shrine. It is said to be amazing as well. My feet are sore because I walked over 10km on the first day. But I feel very refreshed. What happens in the mountains is different for each person. I recommend climbing without talking and just facing yourself. For lunch I went to a restaurant near the shrine. I went to a restaurant called “Mannaoshi Honten” about five minutes from the shrine, next to the railroad crossing I crossed on the way here. This restaurant is called “Miwa” so they serve the famous “Miwa somen”. I am aiming for sushi. It should be delicious. As I mentioned in the video on the first day, Nara does not have a sea, but for some reason the seafood is really delicious. It’s strange, isn’t it? Everything is really cheap. Chilled somen noodles and persimmon leaf sushi 960 yen Nigiri sushi The 1100 yen noodles are super thin. I’ve noticed this while traveling, but anything tastes amazing when you eat it in the place where it originates. I think a big part of it is the water in that place. These may be the most delicious somen noodles I’ve ever eaten. I don’t eat much somen noodles when eating out, but… Nara’s specialty “Kakinoha Sushi” has mackerel inside. Those who have been watching this channel for a while will be familiar with my favorite mackerel. Very delicious. Apparently it’s handmade in this shop. The vinegar is a little weaker than the ones I’ve had before, with a very gentle flavor. This shop is extremely high quality. And here is the problem child sushi. Conclusion. It’s as delicious as Hokkaido sushi. Or rather, the thickness of the toppings is the best I’ve ever eaten. By far. Amazing. When I first ate the squid, I thought, “Huh? It’s not thawed yet?” That’s how thick it is. Incredibly satisfying and delicious. It’s a little naughty, but I’ll turn it over a little to show you just how thick the ingredients are. What do you think? Can you tell? It’s super thick. You can’t really tell from the video… I want you to try it. It’s as satisfying as the famous Nemuro Hanamaru double-decker scallops. The tuna is so thick it has a hidden knife-like thing going in it. 1100 yen for this is insane. This is in my top three sushi. In front of it is the same railroad crossing as before, but trains rarely go by there. It’s so delicious that I’m considering ordering more. The Triple Crown of Nigiri Sushi 450 yen problem child squid. You’d be surprised if you eat it. You can’t swallow it unless you chew it very much. It’s so delicious that I want to come to Miwa just for this restaurant and the next restaurant I’m heading to. It was extremely tasty. Super recommended. Those who come by train will walk along the road next to this railroad crossing. However, on the way home, there was a very tasty restaurant. I was actually planning to turn the road and return to the station, but for some reason I was called, so I didn’t turn the road and headed ahead. This kind of thing really happens when you go to a shrine. Donuts. I’d like to eat a few sweet things so I’ll go and try it. “ThouSand” Donuts 210 yen Rice flour is used instead of wheat flour, and no additives are included. They will order and fried them before ordering. This is incredibly tasty. Nara is exclusive to the best donuts 1 and 2 I ate yesterday. And the landlady is a really nice person. We talked about a lot. It might be more like a donut or churro. I wanted to buy it as a takeaway, but it didn’t contain any additives so it would get hard the next day. Please try eating freshly fried food on site. It was shockingly delicious. And everyone in Miwa is nice. They are kind and talk to you in a friendly manner. I definitely want to come again! I went to a cafe near the station until the next train. A shop called “Karin” about a 2-minute walk from the station . A set of chiffon cake and coffee for 650 yen . The coffee here was also delicious. It was medium-dark roasted and authentic. After all, if the water is good, everything tastes good. This chiffon cake is probably also handmade. It’s not flashy, but it’s very comforting. It has a warm taste. The atmosphere of the shop is like a mountain hut, which is nice. The atmosphere of the shop is very good, but it’s a bit disappointing that the FM radio is playing at a fairly loud volume. It would be great if they were playing classical music. I think this changes depending on the season, but right now they were playing persimmons. All of this for 650 yen is a good deal. Miwa is really good. There are only 1-2 trains per hour, so this is the perfect shop for waiting. The windows have an atmosphere like this. It’s a bit like a Ghibli movie. If I lived nearby, I would probably go there for coffee. I was able to spend my time waiting for the train very meaningfully. I recommend it. This station building has a great feel to it. It looks like it could be in a movie. It would be great against the blue summer sky. It’s a great place. There seem to be other interesting places in Miwa. I introduced Todaiji Temple on the first day, and Miwa on the second day. I recommend this two-day, one-night plan. It’s a lot of walking though. Thank you for watching until the end. I wonder where I should go next. I want to go to the countryside.
