【大磯町】神奈川県の無形民俗文化財「相模國府祭」を撮影してきました
The Sagami Kokufu Festival, held every May in Oiso, Kanagawa, is a sacred Shinto ritual with roots in the Heian period (794–1185).
In ancient times, Oiso served as the political and spiritual center of the former Sagami Province. During the festival, six deities from major regional shrines gather at Rokusho Shrine for a divine council known as “Kamurai.”
The ceremonies follow traditional protocol, featuring processions of warriors in armor, sacred mikoshi (portable shrines), and mounted messengers.
Now recognized as an Intangible Folk Cultural Asset of Kanagawa Prefecture, the festival continues to be a proud symbol of local heritage and devotion.
平安時代から続く相模國府祭（さがみこうのまち）は、神奈川県大磯町で毎年5月に開催される伝統的な神事です。
かつて相模国の政治と宗教の中心だったこの地に、六所神社をはじめとする六つの神社の神々が集い、「神会（かむらい）」と呼ばれる神々の会議が行われます。
儀式は古式にのっとり、武者装束の行列や神輿の練り歩き、馬上の使者の登場など、厳粛かつ荘厳な雰囲気で執り行われます。
現在では神奈川県指定の無形民俗文化財となっており、地域の誇りとして今も多くの人々に受け継がれています。
