@Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture Hello, this is Ricca. Today, I’ll show you my trip to Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture! Taking a break at the Dangosaka Service Area I bought a drink at Starbucks and headed out (^^) I got off at Kawaguchiko IC! First, I had lunch (^^) Speaking of Yamanashi’s specialty, Yoshida udon! The restaurant was a tatami room where you had to take off your shoes before entering. I’ll have some beef udon! It looks delicious (^^) As the title says…
I came here to visit the filming locations of the drama “Hot Spot” (^^) I wanted to have lunch at a long-established coffee shop called “Mon Buran” but… The line was longer than I expected… I gave up for the day and came to Miura Udon (^^) It’s chewy and delicious! I tried adding some spiciness called suridane. Be careful not to add too much, but it made it even more delicious! I went in just before closing time at 2pm… There were still a lot of people there. I’m glad I got to eat at a popular restaurant! It was a good memory. After lunch, I went to…!! This is Shinsekai Kanpai Street. In the drama, it was called “Fuji Asada Cheers Alley.” It really feels like an alleyway (^^) In episode 6, a group of four from Minami Junior High School pass the mayor on their way to the snack bar “Non”! There’s also a snack bar “Aijin”! It would have been best if I’d been able to come at night, but… So this is it…! (^^) I wonder if this is where Kiyomi, Hatchi, and Nakamoto san took their photos after leaving the snack bar “Non”? I was so excited (^^) I looked it up later, but it might have been the other way around if I had taken the photo:D There was also “Neno Jinja Shrine”. This is where the drunk hotel guests from the snack bar “Non” were picked up by taxi. The angle of view may be different from the drama though:D Next is “Tsukinoe Bookstore”, which Kiyomi passed by on her bike in episode 2! I was so excited to find out that it actually existed! 😀 I also took a photo from the other side, and the bookstore was open! I also caught a glimpse of “M-2,” the Western restaurant that Kiyomi was considering for lunch in episode 6! The atmosphere is nice 😀 It was cloudy that day…
I couldn’t see Mt. Fuji from Fujiyoshida Retro Shopping Street. It seems to be a popular photo spot for foreigners,
so there were a lot of people there. After a short drive, we arrived at “Ichikishima Shrine”! This is where Kiyomi was almost hit by a truck on her way home and Takahashi-san saved her (^^) I’ll return to the Fujiyoshida Retro Shopping Street tomorrow… With a fresh start, I’m heading to “Ichiyama Mart”! Oh, that’s right, the other options for lunch were “Seiryu Hanten” and “Nikonan”. I forgot to take a video, but they were near “M-2” 😀 Unfortunately, both were closed 😀 I arrived, and in the drama they were at the Asada branch. In the fourth episode, Ayanyan’s bike gets stolen, but I don’t think there’s a bike parking lot in front of the store! I couldn’t see Mt. Fuji. It’s cloudy. There were autographs of Kiyomi (Ichikawa Mikako) and Ayanyan (Kinami Haruka)
inside the store! The last place I went to that day was the gas station where the money was handed over in the final episode, “Self-service Fuji Asada Station.” It was “ENEOS Self-service Fujikawaguchiko SS”! I can’t remember the exact angle, but I should have taken the picture from the back:D I’m washing my car because I’m here! I’ve worked hard on my Jimny all day today! I’m going to go eat dinner now (^^) I went to Himawari-tei, a yakiniku restaurant near the stand! I managed to get a reservation for the opening time of 5:00 p.m. (^^) I’m grilling some horumon (^^) It seems to be a popular restaurant, and everything was delicious! I stayed at the Fujikawaguchiko Resort Hotel. There was a large public bath, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was a buffet, and I ate a lot. What did you think? (^^) The next video will introduce Day 2. On Day 2, I could see Mt. Fuji (^^)
