I guarantee you 90% of Kiwis have never been over Danseys Pass. It’s a nice wee road, a bit twisty, a bit narrow and a bit steep, a bit unsealed but it’s a nice wee road. Keep the speed down and you’ll be sweet as.

Spent the night in Timaru. Went down to the docks that night and watched the blue penguins return from feeding. Lil buggers waddled right up to me and sang me a song!
Sat on Oamaru viewing point for ages at dusk and one penguin!
