Katsurashima Island, located on the Shimane Peninsula in Daisen-Oki National Park.It is a small island with a circumference of about 2 km. The impressive rough and uneven rocks were formed from lava that erupted from the sea floor approximately 15 million years ago.In contrast to the powerful landscape, you can also enjoy the beautiful and elegant scenery of thick matsu (pine trees), white sandy beaches, and clear waters that make you want to gaze at the island forever✨
