「お疲れさま」国宝犬山城天守ですす払い 年間入場者数も過去最多を更新 Cleaning soot from the National Treasure Inuyama Castle Keep
愛知県犬山市の国宝犬山城天守で１３日、年に１回のすす払いがあった。この日は年間入場者数も過去最多を更新。管理事務所の職員たちが、多くの観光客を受け入れてきた城を「お疲れさま」とねぎらいながら、ほこりを落とした。
すす払いは、竹の先にササを取り付けた２～４メートルのほうきを使って実施。普段の掃除ではは手が届かない軒裏や天井のほこり、クモの巣などを払った

The annual soot sweep took place on the 13th at the National Treasure Inuyama Castle Main Tower in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture. The number of visitors on this day also reached a record high. The staff at the management office swept the dust off while thanking the castle for its hard work in welcoming so many tourists.
The soot sweep was carried out using 2-4m brooms made of bamboo with bamboo grass attached to the end. They swept away dust and spider webs on the eaves and ceilings that are difficult to reach during regular cleaning.
