Thank you for being here 🙂 In this video, I visited Uchiko-town in ehime prefecture, the 5th prefecture out of my travel through all the 47 prefectures in Japan 🇯🇵

After exploring central Matsuyama, I extended my journey to visit Aoshima, Ehime Prefecture’s famous “Cat Island” where cats outnumber human residents – a place I had long wanted to visit. (Before that, I also enjoyed some local specialties in the Dogo Onsen area: “Yuzarashi Dango” and “Matsuyama Zushi”). To reach Aoshima, I took a ferry from Iyo-Nagahama Station, and upon disembarking, I was greeted by a landscape teeming with cats… 😻🐈 Next time, I’ll be featuring Shimonada Station.
