Yayoi Kusama’s artwork, “Pumpkins,” on display at Naoshima, includes both red and yellow pumpkins.
In my 2022 video https://youtu.be/CSTqvfpJQXU , the red pumpkin appears, but as of 2022, the yellow pumpkin did not exist because it was under restoration.
Later, after the yellow pumpkins were restored, it was installed on the current pier, reviving the symbol of Naoshima.
Early in the morning when I shot this video, rain was forecast for Naoshima, but not much rain fell. I had hoped to slowly show you Naoshima’s artworks if it kept raining harder, but the rain in the Seto Inland Sea stops quickly, so this video turned out to be a very short video.
