【一人旅山口編】御守りの種類が日本一!?ぶらり旅 第465回「山口県:琴崎八幡宮」-アクセス,駐車場,縁結び,神社- Kotosaki Hachiman Shrine,Yamaguchi
ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2022年9月に山口県宇部市にある「琴崎八幡宮」に行きました。

・琴崎八幡宮
貞観元（859）年、八幡宮の総本宮である大分の宇佐神宮から京都の石清水八幡宮へ御分霊を移す際、嵐を避けるため、宇部に立ち寄ったことが起源とされ、以来、毛利元就をはじめ、多くの藩主・領主に崇敬された由緒ある八幡宮で、宇部の守り神として多くの市民に親しまれています。
目を引くのが、お守りやお札の多彩さ。
その数、実に928種類〈令和5年1月現在〉以上もあり、デニム地のものや部活での勝利を祈願したもの、日本サッカー協会公認のもの、A5サイズの特大安産、消防士、自衛官のものなど、個性的なお守りが盛りだくさん。
どんな願意にも対応しています。
I would like to introduce some places I went to on a whim.
In September 2022, I went to Kotozaki Hachiman Shrine in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

・Kotozaki Hachiman Shrine
It is said that in 859, when the main shrine of Hachiman Shrine, Usa Shrine in Oita, was transferred to Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine in Kyoto, the shrine stopped in Ube to avoid a storm. Since then, it is a historic Hachiman Shrine that has been revered by many feudal lords and feudal lords, including Mori Motonari, and is loved by many citizens as the guardian deity of Ube.
What catches your eye is the variety of amulets and talismans.
There are over 928 different types (as of January 2023), including many unique charms, such as denim ones, ones for winning club activities, ones approved by the Japan Football Association, extra-large A5-sized ones for safe childbirth, ones for firefighters and Self-Defense Force members, and more.
There’s something for every wish.
