秋の三国峠 Mikuni Pass in Autumn
三国峠は北海道の大雪山国立公園内にあり、上川郡上川町と河東郡上士幌町の境にある国道273号線の峠である。標高1,139ｍにあり、北海道の国道最高点の位置にある。周囲には樹海が広がっていて秋には広大な紅(黄)葉の風景を堪能できる。
Mikuni Pass is located in Daisetsuzan National Park in Hokkaido, and is a pass on National Route 273 on the border between Kamikawa Town and Kamishihoro Town. At an altitude of 1,139m, it is the highest point of any national route in Hokkaido. It is surrounded by a sea of trees, and in autumn you can enjoy the vast scenery of autumn leaves.
