【概要】
「るろうに剣心」と「時をかける少女」は「たけはら町並み保存地区」で撮影されました。
竹原は江戸時代に「安芸の小京都」として知られ、製塩業で栄えました。1650年頃に赤穂（あこう）から製塩技術が伝わり、塩づくりが盛んになりました。また、竹原は酒造業でも有名で、特に竹鶴政孝（まさたか）の生家があることで知られています。
竹鶴政孝は、ニッカウイスキーの創業者で、NHK連続テレビ小説『マッサン』のモデルになった方です。彼の生涯は、日本のウイスキー業界に多大な影響を与え、今日の日本ウイスキーの品質に貢献した人物として語られています。

【Summary】
The movies “Rurouni Kenshin” and “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time” were filmed in the Takehara Machinami Preservation District.
Takehara was known as the “Little Kyoto of Aki” in the Edo period (1603-1868) and prospered in the salt manufacturing industry. around 1650, salt manufacturing techniques were introduced from Ako, and salt production flourished. Takehara is also famous for its sake brewing industry, especially as the birthplace of Masataka Taketsuru.
Masataka Taketsuru was the founder of Nikka Whiskey and the model for the NHK television series “Massan. His life is described as a man who had a great influence on the Japanese whiskey industry and contributed to the quality of Japanese whiskey today.
