宿泊ホテルの周辺を散歩します。
ホテルは田辺川沿いにあり、
川を渡ると
・煎野神社
・円通寺
があります。
この辺りは斗南藩。
会津藩が戊辰戦争敗戦後に
こちらに移転してきた場所で、
関連する碑などがありました。
会津藩商魂の碑。
藩主の宿泊場所もこちらの寺だったとか。
→7時過ぎに、宿をでます。
海岸沿いを西に向かいます。
大湊通過。
海上自衛隊の基地があったります。
何隻かの軍艦を見ることができました。
しかし、基地は大きい。
→約1時間走ります。
・脇野沢港
8時20分に港到着。
観光船とフェリーが発着する港。
ほどほどの大きさです。
・イルカウォッチング
予定の15分前に出航。
45人乗りの船です。
ガイドさんがいて、
イルカかこのあたりの
説明をしてもらえました。
天草にいるイルカが太平洋と日本海を
泳いで北上してくるとか・・
30分ほど航海して
イルカの群れに出くわします。
かなりたくさんのイルカを見ることができました。
海から飛び出る(息づぎ?)
子ずれで3〜4頭で泳いでいることがおおいとか。
港に戻るとほどなく・・フェリーがやってきました。
洋軽半島の脇田からやってくる船。
フェリーにしては大きくはありませんが・
観光バスが5台ほど出ていきました。
コースになっているのでしょう。
他に普通車も。
1時間半ほどで陸奥湾を渡れるフェリーですが
1万円ほどします。
観光船は、他に「仏が浦」行や
「鯛島」上陸
などがあるようでしたが、
この日はやっていない、
イルカウォッチングのみ・ということで
港を後にしました。
→来た道を15分程どり
川内港から北に道をとります。
・かもしかライン
下北半島の真ん中を南北に走る道路です。
紅葉がきれいだろうと想像します。
鹿は見かけませんでした。
夜なら見られるのかも。
→海岸にでます。
佐井港。
ここから仏が浦行の観光船が出ています。
2年前に乗りました。
→海岸沿いの道路を東に向かいます。

・すみよし食堂
マグロで有名な港町。
地元の食堂に入り
マグロ丼を頂きました。
他の客は地元客のようで
ラーメンとか頼んで
マグロを食べているのは我々だけでした。
美味しかった⋯
・大間崎
本州北端の岬になります。
少し離れた島に灯台があり、
観光地となっています。
休憩処から海を眺められます。
対岸に北海道が見えるはずですが、
曇っていてそこまで見えませんでした。
(残念)
→海沿いの道をぐるっと回っていきます。
1時間。途中から内側に入ります。
・薬研温泉
川沿い、キャンプ場などの雰囲気がありますが、
人はあまり見かけませんでした。
温泉の建物は複数ありました。

有料道路。
東北道につながります。
・東北道
安代JCTから
東北道です。

この辺りは温泉が多い。
岩手県側になります。

A port town famous for tuna.
We entered a local diner and had a tuna bowl.

The other customers seemed to be locals.

We were the only ones eating tuna.

Oma-zaki
It is the northernmost cape of Honshu.
There is a lighthouse on the island a little bit far from the cape.
It is a sightseeing spot.
You can see the sea from the rest area.
You should be able to see Hokkaido on the other side of the coast, but it was too cloudy to see that far.
But it was cloudy and we could not see that much.
(Too bad).

It takes 1 hour. We will turn inward on the way.
