⁴ᴷ Tokyo: Hino Station (東京都: 日野駅) – Japan Walking Tour (September, 2024)
I’m on a journey to the Chūgoku region, aiming for both the San’in and Sanyō areas. After visiting Takahatafudō Station in Hino City, I continued to Hino Station. Given the name, I expected Hino Station to be the central hub of the city, but it turns out that Takahatafudō Station actually has more passengers. In fact, Hino Station has the fewest passengers among the 24 stations on the Chūō Line Rapid between Tokyo and Takao. The station’s rustic, country house-style design also caught my eye—quite a unique sight.
