This is a review of Kurokawa Onsen Gekkoju (黒川温泉 月洸樹) which is the Japanese Luxury Onsen Ryokan with private large hot springs.

Tenshin: The good feeling of the open-air bath with spacious wood terrace surrounded by greenery brings the urge to breathe deeply. This room is barrier-free. 88.33m2 (950 sq ft).

Yoimachi: The pleasant murmuring of the nearby mountain stream can have a powerful healing effect. Time spent in the open-air bath enveloped in greenery is restoring. 97.15m2 (1,045 sq ft; 2 floors).

Ariake: Listening to birdsong while soaking in the circular open-air bath brings a sense of one’s heart being cleansed. Wrapped in the silence of nature, this room is a wonderful place to just be. 82.27m2 (885 sq ft).

Yumihari: This is the only room with an open-air bath that creates the feeling of being in a wilderness cave. Enjoy a feeling of bliss from being surrounded by nature. 86.95m2 (936 sq ft).

Kazemachi: A luxurious room with spectacular scenery. On entering, the spacious interior and the mountains of Aso jump to the eye to form a single picture. 99.25 m2 (1,068 sq ft).

Yumemi: The room incorporates a circular open-air bath, and tearoom that conveys the Japanese taste for quiet simplicity. Experience a world of deep traditional harmony. 97.92m2 (1,054 sq ft).

Izayoi: This sumptuous room has a combined inside and open-air bath. The large frame from an old Japanese wooden house gives the interior a beautiful openness. 95.23m2 (1,025 sq ft).

Katsuki: This being the closest room to the stars and moon in the Kurokawa area makes it special. Enjoy views of beautiful Japanese terraced rice fields, and the mountains of Aso and Kuju. 99.11m2 (1,066 sq ft).

■Kurokawa Onsen hot spring tour
If you purchase a 1,300 yen (9 dollars) bill, you can enter the public baths of 3 of the 10 or more inns.

On the Kurokawa Onsen Yumeguri, we went to Shinmeikan, Sou Yumoto, and Ikoi Ryokan. In my personal opinion, Ikoi Ryokan ＞ Sou Yumoto ＞ Shinmeikan.

Kurokawa Onsen Yumeguri is 1,300 yen and you can enter the public bath of 3 inns, so I think it is the best for hot spring lovers.

Impressions of staying at Kurokawa Onsen Gekkouju
・It was one of the best hot spring inns in Japan
・The entrance gate is impressive, showing the difference from other inns from the entrance.
・The inside of the room was unique, and I was impressed by the restaurant with a footbath, the large bath, and the rooftop.
・The price is generally high, but I think it’s a ryokan worth the price.

黒川温泉湯めぐりでは神明館、湯本壮、いこい旅館に行きました。個人的な感想だと、いこい旅館＞湯本壮＞神明館です

黒川温泉湯めぐりは1300円で3つの旅館の大浴場に入れてしまうので、温泉好きにとっては最高だと思います。
