BEST VIDEO EVER!!! I recall volunteering a decade ago on Samui and it was a tough slog and nowhere near as beautiful as this place. So great to see so many dogs having their needs taken care of even if only for the short term. I feed 7-10 soi dogs a day here in Chiang Mai and boy do they know when it's me coming and show so much trust and affection. Please please support the animals. ๐๐๐

So happy that you highlight this issue in the country and important work done! I fucking HATED soi dogs when I lived in Bangkok. I have a phobia of dogs so any "strategies to deal with them" fly out the window when encountering these nasty beasts. I hope they get rescued, treated etc so the country / city is safer for "fools like me". ๐

Volunteering is one of my favorite things to do. Makes me wish I lived close because I would be there weekly! So glad to see things like this happen all around the world. โค

This is my last week of 9 weeks volunteering at Soi dog. Wish i didn't have to leave. I have the run J2 tomorrow. Love the teenagers

Thailand does need to get a grip of the soi dog population because itโs out of control.

I loved my time at the Soi Dog, definitely one of the best experiences I've ever done in Thailand. I've done it on my last two visits and I did H1 too. You were very lucky to get so many dogs who were into the water.
The bus, I believe only picks up in Nai Yang, I stayed in Mai Khao on both my visits, the first time I got a tuk tuk, which was sorted out by my resort, and the 2nd time I had a car, and i loved the resort so much.

Hi, Paddy! I have just visited Soi Dog Foundation in Phuket 2 weeks ago. It is near to the airport but far from my accommodation. It was an insightful and lovely experience going through the free tour and interacting with the dogs and watching (no enough time) the cats. I felt emotional and full of empathy watching these injured and handicapped animals who had been abused by us, humans. I would love to come back to revisit again when I have more time at my disposal. Shall come back to volunteer walk and play the dogs and cats. Feel my happiest time spent is when seeing and spending time with them. I have already started monthly donation to Soi Dog. Wish one day I can contribute more in terms of money and time. Thank you for this wonderful video! Appreciate your efforts to help out. Cheers!

My wife and I have just volunteered there. We initially signed up for the 2 days then extended for another 2 as we loved it so much! Such a worthwhile way to spend your time and nice to be able to give back to such an amazing foundation! Going to try and fit another few days in at the end of our travels โค

Qualche volta ho anche chiesto direttamente agli you tuber che seguo in Thailandia di dedicare tempo a questo argomento che a me tocca molto e che conoscendo,diventerebbe piu' facile ricevere degli aiuti.
Sono donatrice di soi dogs come di altre fondazioni e sto seguendo i video di happydoggo a Samui che collabora con soidog riguardo le sterilizzazioni,episodio fantastico.
Non sapevo pero' che si potesse far visita alla struttura( io farei il tour a pagamento)o addirittura poter fare il volontario.
Quest' anno avevo chiesto a soi dog foundation in Bangkok se era possibile visitarli ma mi hanno detto che erano molto occupati quindi ho abbandonato l' idea perche' non volevo essere di intralcio.Ancora un grande grazie e aggiornaci ogni tanto, cosi' che rimanga sempre in mente questa magnifica realta' dove,anche una piccola donazione puo' fare la differenza quando si unisce a mille altre.
Un caro saluto a tutte le persone che amano gli animaliโค ,i cani poi hanno in cuore speciale.
