Well, the fruit may be a bit higher by you but all the other prices seemed so so affordable then the US. Disney Tokyo looks like how Disney World looked in the 80’s. Loved all the characters. The Hotel looked very modern outside to me. The prices seemed great for what you got. I would definitely stay there too. Plus they had all English translations on everything.

When I lived in Tokyo from 1989-1990, we visited Tokyo Disneyland. It was just like the Disneyland I grew up with in California in the 1970s and 1980s, just smaller. It's good to see they've kept a lot of the original elements from then. We had a great time at Tokyo Disneyland…thank you for the memory.

5:18 Your parents never mentioned it but they stayed at the Hotel Mets when they visited Tokyo Disneyland and liked the glasses in the bathroom so much, they took one as a souvenir.
They should have air fresheners in every hotel room! I always carry one with me. I dream of visiting Japan, but can't afford it. Also, there are climate concerns in long air travel. But it's fun to "armchair travel" as we say in Finnish (nojatuolimatkailu) like this!

At 6:49, there is a phone/tablet stand, but the thing it's holding is a small rechargeable lamp. I have two of them and they're quite handy. Flat and small when folded, but a good size when unfolded into sort of a double-Z shape (seen illustrated on the sticker on it) with good task/reading light. I got them for travel and power outages but I use them often on my desk or when reading.
