The Akita Inu Village and Keijō Park in Ōdate City, Akita Prefecture, are a great combination to visit. It is also one of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots. We stroll slowly through the park, admiring the cherry blossoms. The cool breeze blowing through the cherry blossom trees makes them sway beautifully. The park has about 140 Somei Yoshino cherry trees, forming a cherry blossom tunnel that is very beautiful. In addition to cherry blossoms, there are also some ruins of the castle tower in the park. During the cherry blossom season, there are also vendors and stage events held in the park, and at night, the cherry blossoms are illuminated for visitors to enjoy. In addition to the cherry blossom season, the Akita Inu Hombu Exhibition is also held here every autumn, showcasing various breeds of Akita Inu.
