山都町も元気に八朔祭り「大造り物、町内引き回し」。

田の神に感謝し収穫の目安を立てる日とされる八朔（旧暦8月1日）に、豊年祈願と商売繁盛を願い行われる「八朔祭」（山都町観光協会HPより）。そのメインプログラムである、竹やススキ、松笠など自然の材料を使い制作された「大造り物」を山都町内一円を引き廻す「大造り物引き廻し」の動画です。

This video features the “O-tsukurimono Hikimawashi” (Grand Parade of Giant Structures)—the main event of the Hassaku Festival. Held on Hassaku (the first day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar)—a day traditionally dedicated to thanking the deity of the rice fields and forecasting the harvest—the festival includes prayers for bountiful crops and business prosperity. During the parade, massive structures crafted from natural materials such as bamboo, Japanese pampas grass, and pine cones are drawn through the town of Yamato.
